I hope its the latter but they are in great form so it will be tough. On the other hand lets hope the last 2 games have took a lot out of them and we'll be able to win and put more pressure on Chelsea. If i'am honest i think the big game remaining will be Liverpool vs Chelsea. If Chelsea win that i think they will win the title. If they don't we'll have a great chance.

Liverpool will hate allowing us to win the league though as it means we'll overtake them in regard to league titles won. What's definite is that anything could happen in the last 3 games, i just hope we will prevail.

Tell me about it. Last week i firmly believed we were out of it but now out of nowhere there is new hope. I still think Chelsea will win it but like you said the season has been so unpredictable that another twist is likely.

I think its beyond Arsenal now though. Your goal difference is way behind Chelsea so that means you need them to drop points twice assuming you beat Wigan tomorrow. I can see them dropping points at Liverpool but i see them comfortably beating Stoke and Wigan at home.

Crazy season so far, I've given up trying to predict what will happen next.

Oh hell yeah, we were done when Fab broke his leg. Even then I couldn't see it happening, I hoped but it was a vain hope. The final nail was that agonizing defeat to the tiny tots. All I can say is thank god for Dundee Utd or the end of this season would really have sucked.

I won't keep you long, I just have a couple of things I'd like to say...

City 0-1 United

Chelsea 1-2 Spurs

That is all.

Such a sad sad day. Hopefully it won't matter in the end but the problem is now that I got a feeling that I need to hope that Liverpool loses against Chelsea. Not a good feeling.

We got a problem with our left backs. Insua and Aurelio is injured and Agger is stuck in Denmark due to the ash cloud. Since we don't play until monday there's still a chance he can play but it would be stupid to count on it. And with Skrtel amd Kelly also injured it'll be interesting to see the line-up. I'm guessing Johnson on the left and Degen or Mascherano to the right. I doubt Rafa will throw in a youngster.

This season will to 98% certainty end in disaster. 7th place two points behind Aston Villa but with Torres gone for the rest of the season, poor form and maybe concentrating on winning the EL, since it's a trophy, it doesn't look likely that'll we'll improve on that. Would be glorious if just Everton passed us as well. It's good for the league that it has gotten more competitive but when you're the team doing the most suffering because of it it's not as easy to be fond of it as you should. Won't put the blame anyone or anything but ourselves though.

Get in, Newcastle are champions, and I am over the moon about it 😀 😀 😀 Good times.

Premiership's looking good too this year, I'll be watching the battle for 1st place and 4th place closely 🙂

Well I shall be looking forward to Championship football again next season. I don't see any way out for Hull now. And I'll miss Bullard!

Miracles have happened before. Fulham not long ago and West brom (?) some time way back. Didn't West ham with Tevez do something special too? Maybe not real miracles but it sure didn't look good for any of them. It's not looking good but you never know. And you're playing us don't you. That should give you some points.

What do you bring to a derby in Rome?

Answer:
Axex, knifes and saws among other things. You could think they were gonna work or something....

So to no surprise our season ends in total disaster. The good thing? Next year the players we got left can put all their concentration on the league leading us to the trophy we so desperately need. And once that happens people won't see this season as so bad... 😉

How big are the chances of us beating Chelsea considering our form and the game we had on thursday? Not big at all of course but us helping United win the league once again would be a nice icing on the cake for our season so I don't take anything for granted. Worst case is of course Chelsea beating us but still not winning the league. I hate losing to Chelsea, especially at home, but seeing United win another title with the season they've had would pretty much be too much too handle. I don't have much United hate actually but there's a limit to how much I can tolerate. :cussing: I think the only way things can get worse is by selling Torres and Gerrard and still be in huge depth and doing a "Leeds". The summer might not be fun but it'll sure be interesting.

So who do the none Chelsea and Unitedfans want to win the league?

I saw the first half of the Liverpool/Chelsea game, i have to admit that i really LOL'd when Gerrard did that crappy backpass and Drogba scored.

Chelsea's title now what Gerrard did was disgraceful :frown3:

I hope you're not suggesting Gerrard did that on purpose? He did it a few seasons ago against Arsenal with Henry playing the Drogba role. There is no way that was deliberate, just no way.

Your probably right but for it to happen during that specific game, well is it perhaps a little too coincidental?

well is it perhaps a little too coincidental?

No, if he managed to pull off a pass like that to Drogba in the heat of the moment, then he's better than I thought he was. If it was arranged before hand then you're suggesting premeditated match-fixing which is a pretty serious thing to suggest.

Of course it is a serious accusation there is no denying that, all i am saying is for him to make such a serious error in a game which could stop the team he despises winning the league, well you can understand why some people are unhappy.

If/when Chelsea win the league it will not be due to, what I believe, was a genuine error by Gerrard. I can however see why Man U fans would suggest it was deliberate. All I am saying is that having watched football my entire life, what I saw on Sunday was a player making a bad mistake & nothing else. In truth however, only Gerrard knows for sure.
