Hey there!
I'm new to the boards, and alexa was super kind enough to adopt me (go alexa!) Hopefully, with her help I won't make a complete fool of myself here... bah, fat chance of that happening 😉
I suppose that this is the place to introduce myself.
I am 20 years old and Im from Nova Scotia Canada. I am currently in my third year of university, hopefully going for an honours degree in religious studies. Just to clear that up, no, Im not going to be a nun, or prayer leader or anything like that. I am learning about various traditions and faiths, with an emphasis on western religions. I am currently working 2 jobs to put me through university (...yay....go me....).
I enjoy spending time watching movies -with or without other people, makes no difference to me. If its a good film I could care less who is with me at the moment. Some of my favorite film actors are Alan Rickman (hmmm, my name seem familiar now? lol), Jeremy Irons, Jason Isaacs and Robert Sean Leonard. I also am a huge television fan, my favorites being Criminal Minds, House, all of the CSIs, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Strangers With Candy.... and well, the obvious Buffy and Angel. I also do a lot of reading, some of my favorites being Harry Potter, The Wheel of Time series, the sword of truth series, anything by stephen king, and any kind of ghost story I can get my hands on.
How did I get started on Buffy and Angel you ask? Well, I'm a late comer (late as in about a month or 2 ago for angel lol). I was watching a tv channel and everyday after Dawsons Creek this show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer came on. I didn't watch it and I didn't watch it. One day I caved and decided to watch an episode and well, the rest is history lol. As for Angel, some friends of mine watched it as it was airing a few years ago, but I had no inclination to watch it. However, I was at a local store around New Years and I was going through a Boxing Day Sale bin of movies and seasons of various shows. I saw season one of Angel going for 15 bucks, and I knew that it was a spin off of Buffy so I thought "why not? what's the worse that could happen?" So I watched and was hooked again.... and finished the ENTIRE series in about a month - how awesome/sad is that?
