The Gathering - Sound familiar?

So I heard about this new mini movie series called "The Gathering" and was wondering if anyone from Buffy was in it? My friend was telling me about it and was saying that he thought it was somehow tied to Buffy, but I was telling him I doubt it. I forget what channel it's supposed to be on .. maybe Lifetime or something.

It has to do with an underground society of witches living in modern times .. a bit bloody too, I think.

but the hottest woman in television has come out of hiding since The Sopranos ended finally! She is starring in "The Gathering" and it looks like it's going to be intense. I don't mind being scared as long as I have her to look at anyway...
 
I'm assuming you are talking about Jamie-Lynn Sigler....if it's the mother of The Sopranos I might freak out a bit. Her voice drives me insane for some reason. Anyways Jamie is a good actress so I think the movie will be good.
 
I am glad someone else knew about this. I set my dvr to record it. I hope it is scary. I love Horror, it's my favorite genre.
 
Uh, it's on Lifetime. It won't be scary. Not that ANYTHING on TV is ever scary.

I will watch it though because it's being made by some cool people. 🙂 So it won't really be Lifetime-type stuff. I don't remember who's making it specifically though. Maybe the guy who worked on Battlestar and Bionic Woman? Or X-Files, or Buffy. Some well-known genre show.

scary or not, i likes me some Jamie-Lynn Sigler. And if she's playing a witch in this mini-series? man oh man...
 
John Shiban, the guy who produced the X-Files wrote The Gathering, apparently .. which makes it even better, 'cause I loved the X-Files :whistle:
