The ghost in Cordelia's apartment

Phantom Dennis was tied to the apartment, and we never went back there after season 3, so he probably got a new flatmate!
 
I like to believe that he was somehow released and allowed to pass over (maybe his taking care of Cordy acted as some sort of act of fulfillment or something), because, otherwise, I get this sad image of him waiting patiently for Cordy to return.

On the other hand, once Cordy became a Higher Being, she would have released him if he was still there.

Ah so that's why I couldn't remember, because it was never tied up! I just assumed it would have been...

Since Phantom Dennis was tied to the apartment, I assume he was always just stuck there. I always felt kinda sad for him, because he was obviously so attached to Cordelia. I always wondered if the team ever explained to him what had happened to her?
 
He's not just a ghost. His mame was Phanton Dennis and he was a human being!

He was tied to the apartment so I'm pretty sure he stayed behind to haunt whoever moved in after Cordelia left. It would have been nice if he made another appearance. I liked him.
 
It's a little sad that we're never given an explanation as to what happened to Phantom Dennis, but like WA I have my own theory I like to believe happened. I like thinking that when Cordy left the apartment and eventually became a "higher being" or whatever that she found some way to release Phantom Dennis; that he was able to "move on" or something to that effect.

I would love to know what happened to him in the comics though.
 
I liked the character and what he added to Cordy. That was the first step in her becoming a darker/more complex character. His story is maybe something they could have tied up.
