Anybody like this character?

i kind of do, i think he should had stayed longer. The cordelia character was ruined on season 4 and there was no relationship between her and angel. I think Groo should had returned during the jasmine fiasco, make him a permanent member of the angels

I do like Groo in s3 especially. I do not however wish they'd make him a permanent cast member. I personally think he's super funny, and really cute after he cuts his long hair. Plus his eyes are like purple. lol. I never understood why people hate him. I thought he was a lot of fun in s3, but I also didn't like Cangel. so...

people hated him?, that's news to me. Now i know some hated the pylea story. But i agree with you, when groo cameback on season 3, he was pretty good. i liked the fact that he was unlearned, kind of innocent and very submissive towards Angel's leadership. He was helpful and was very into the comradeship of the group which i liked

Well there's people that don't like him. I still like the Pylea arc, but yea he I thought worked well with AI and was super excited to be a part of it. He didn't understand how everything worked but it was funny to me. And we get to see Angel being petty again. Which I personally love, cause I find it hilarious. lol

you and i are thinking the same way, i liked the pettiness and jealousness of angel. Like i said, Groo was not gonna outstaged Angel, i really think that he could had fit in with the gang, and they could had used another muscle on their side

Haha, petty Angel is the best! And then Angel wanted Groo to take credit for the tree demon, but Groo couldn't. That was a great scene. Yea I just don't think they needed another muscle. They already brought in Spike in s5. I would have liked to see him come back and see what he's up to. Did he stay in our world or go back to Pylea? There's a lot they could explore with his character.

Him an spike going on a mission on seasen 5, i guess the idea is not for everyone. Groo provably stayed in the real world working as a stripper, he is so clueless and innocent that i imagine him working in something awkward like that

i think he is in the comics but since i dont read the comics,i dont know his story. But Groo would had found his way in the world, he's strong and looks good. Im sure a rich woman met him at the strppjoint and brought him home. This is why i like his character, he's strong, capable but clueless. He's comedy gold

Haha, this is true and what makes him funny. He's in the comics? I wonder what he's doing or what he's up to. I just can't see Groo dancing around on stage taking his clothes off. If anything he would just be a male prostitute. lol. He doesn't know the laws and would be taken advantage of easily. Poor Groo.

Lol. I just can't imagine (or don't want to) Groo dancing around like Magic Mike. Omg, ordering from Groo at a fast food restaurant would be so much fun! His stay was short and brief but so are other characters I wish we got to see more of or brought back in s5. For some reason, I have the image of Groo being Andrew on steroids. They're both at their best when not taken too seriously. Given the latest events in Buffy's Season 10 story line, I think that they would make an excellent team, especially if Groo still has his dragon and winged horse.

Groo makes a brief appearance in IDW's "After The Fall" arc. So far, Dark Horse I don't think that Dark Horse has used any of the regulars from "Angel" except Harmony and Illyria/Fred.

yeah but i meant him being brought back for the show. it doesnt matter anymore. Groo was cool, Gwen was not. What was the deal with that gwen character, she was just so random, they made like 2 episodes for her, was she friends with the show runner?

oh you ruined it. Were not on the same page anymore. I loved Gwen! She was super hot, wore red leather and had electrical powers! She jump started Angel's heart, how much cooler does she need to be? She was in 3 episodes and I wish the would have brought her back. Actually her and Groo as a team would have been fun.

lol. It's ok. It wasn't that odd. They've introduced one off characters before. It was odd that they brought her back like 6 episodes in between each. And then say she just ran off. I personally really liked her. I liked her and Angel together and I liked her using Gunn.
