The Groosalugg

I love the Groosalugg . He's hot, funny, cute & awesome. He & Cordelia were good together but overall I'm a Cangel shipper so I'm sad that he came back & kind of broke up Cangel for the second 1/2 of S3!
But overall I adore him.

The Groosalugg was only used to highlight how stronly Cordy felt about Angel. She turned Groo into a copy of Angel, so the audience could see she had feelings for Angel before she did. I actually liked how the writers used the character while still keeping him likeable.

Groo always bugged me for some reason. He was just...blah. Too agreeable...and those freaky eyes that looked like giant plums. Cordy needed someone who didn't suck up to her so much. He was like Angel-lite.

His exit scene always makes me so sad. It was the right thing to do though. Glad, he realized his relationship with Cordelia wasn't going to work out.

Yes I would have loved to see Cordelia with him and not as an excuse for Cangel drama. Grogg was kind, brave, noble and a champion like Angel but a better match for Cordy IMO.
