The Half Way Mark; Who Are You vs Birthday

As we all know Buffy was made up of 144 episodes, making episode 72 it's half way point. That episode is 4.16 Who Are You.

Angel was made up of 110 episodes, making episode 55 it's half way point. That episode is 3.11 Birthday.

Which 1 is your favourite? Both brilliant episodes if you ask me. I decided my vote would go to Birthday.

I had to go with "Birthday." I really like Cordy's character development in that one. But, "Who Are You" is a great episode too.

I went with "Who Are You" though, sorry but Faith wins this for me. Probably the first time we see her develop and break free from being nothing more than a solid two-dimensional character. 🙂

"Who Are you" for me, packed with drama, great fights and the return of Faith brings a lot to the series.

But in the end I will pretty much always pick the Buffy episode before Angel in polls like these. So "Who Are You" it is.

Birthday is great but Who are you is better in my eyes and one word Faith. I just think who are you had a lot of great moments and Sarah being a little bad in this episode is great. Overall this was a great episode.

I love 'Who Are You', I think SMG's acting as Faith is superb.

Admittedly, I've only seen 'Birthday' once, and 'Who Are You' several times, so perhaps I can't properly judge.

Who Are You. Birthday is a nice episode, but it's a load of BS, IMO. It doesn't make sense in more ways than one. Plus, WAY is my fav. ep of S4 🙂 It's a really good ep!

Birthday. In a way it set in motion everything that was gonna happen until the end of the series. Cordy became part demon, got hijacked by Jasmine, who drove Connor insane, and forced Angel to take over Wolfram and Hart so his son can have a nice normal life.

Who Are You, for sure. The storyline is more interesting. Also, I LOVE FAITH.

No question - "Who are you" - brilliant episode through and through.
I love "Birthday" too but their were weaknesses in that episode that will forever be thorns in my sides.
