The happiest you felt at Joss

So many things! LOL
- Tillow
- Episode "family"
- Episode "fool for love"
- Wesley's character development from 🙄 to 😎 😀
- OMWF
- Spuffy
- The fanged four
- Moving cordelia to angel and making her nicer
- Keeping Wolfram and Hart in throughout angel
- Anya's bunny fear (its a nice touch to the show and SO funny!)
- Making buffy 1000000000000000000000000 times better than the buffy movie!
- Riley leaving 🙂

Bringing back Darla for Angel S2. That whole season was just fantastic, and Julie really made it. He's done a lot that I've liked, but that tops it.

This. Julie Benz coming back in Season 2 of Angel (and being the only actress to appear in every season of Angel who never appeared in the opening credits. Bit of trivia for ya.) was one of the greatest moments of Buffy/Angel history. It created a bunch of amazing arcs that lead to some of the greatest scenes. (The Trial, the final scene marking Drusilla's return was done extremely well.) I've said it before, but the arc was cut short, the arc being cut short probably made me the most angry at Joss. But that is for another thread isn't it. I do like that Joss further extended it in Season 3 though. We got to see so much of Julie's acting which I think is one of the main reasons why she's been so successful since the show.

Messy post. Simply messy. 😱

I agree. I wasn't that impressed with Darla/Julie in Buffy s1, but she was incredible in ATS!
There's a lot of things...

-The Buffy & Spike relationship. He has done a lot for them, the development and journey were perfect. Complex, but emotionaly realistic and mature.
-A female heroine.
-Make Willow fall in love with a woman.
-The insertion of Dawn's character
-Season 6
-Once More With Feeling
-The Buffy/Willow/Xander friendship.
-The Spike & Dawn friendship
-The relationship between Buffy & Giles as father/daughter.
-Bringing Cordelia in ATS, and her relationship with Angel.
-Faith's character and her evolution.

I agree with some of these. Especially the Faith one. The spuffy one though? Hm.

I agree with ALL of these!
OK, I am currently watching both Castle & Bones, and I have to say that I appreciate Joss for actually having couples get together, period! I am so frustrated with multiple-seasons long UST. No, not many of the couples remained together in Whedon's works, but at least most of them actually got some time together (Cangel's the only one I can think of that was thwarted before it could start, and maybe Paul/Echo in Dollhouse).

"First Date," when Buffy finally admits, "Because I'm not ready for you to not be here." (Good to hear her finally admit it after all that denial time)

Xander.

Spike calling Xander nummy treat and prefering his blood over onion rings.

Xander admirng Spike's body.

Making Serenity. First, it introduced me to Firefly, which is indeed a very good series. Second, that must have been a leap of faith for Universal, since Firefly was only a cult hit. The film was not successful in theaters, though I'm sure it's done fairly well on DVD (I'll get around to buying it, too, eventually). The stars aligned for that one, that's for sure.

For putting Wes and Fred together, no matter how shortlived.

I'm not a Wes/Fred lover but I'm so happy at Joss for bringing Wes onto Angel 😀 I love goofy Wes so much! And I love serious Wes too... there's just too much love for Wesley 🙂

(*grins silly as I sit back and picture Wesley dancing...* Alexis Densiof is a physical comedy superstar!)
