The Happiness Thread #3

I've won two awards for my art in the past couple of weeks, I'm chuffed because I sucked when I started. Also I'm going to a lovely italian restaurant tomorrow to celebrate valentines early with my boyfriend 😀
 
Im eatin a chicken sandwich and ive got chicken cooking in oven, how more happy could i be?
 
I'm watching The Big Lebowski...which makes me happy. Then I'm going to watch A Clockwork Orange, which always makes me extremely happy. That sounds kind of sick...haha but it does. Movies make me happy. I might watch The Shining too. Stanley Kubrick makes me happy. I'm not elated or anything, but I'm content.

Ugh, I need to get a life 😉
 
My ex's mum wrote a message to me on facebook today where she said that she wanted to thank me because she understood more and more what a important person I'd been in my ex's life when he was at a bad place. And then, just a few hours, later I ran in to my ex (which is really wierd, we live in the same city, but I mean, it's a big city, we've only randomly met like 2 times before), and we had a little talk and I told him about his mums message. He told me that that was really funny, because she and him had talked about me just the other day and how he had been depressed and then met me and a lot of things had worked out for him because of that. I'm really, really happy about this. Not just that it was really sweet of both of them to say this to me (and they didn't have a real motive for it or anything - my ex has a new girlfriend now and seems really happy, and his mum and I never talk to each other at all) but also because it really made me think. About that I have been important in someone's life. That I have a place in a room, in a group, in a conversation. There is a place for me. Even after the relationship is different and you no longer see that person as much as you used to or in the same way. And that the fact that I am here does not only affects me. We own everything together, even things that doesn't exist anymore. Aw, life. It's so wierd and strange and fantastic. I love it. :heart:

I have some great news that I would love to share...I got engaged on Valentine's Day to a wonderful guy and the love of my life!! I am truly and completely happy 😀

I know I haven't been on in sometime but I do plan on returning and being on more 🙂
 
Promo pictures of Cassidy Freeman in the Vampire Diaries were released!!!! AHHHHHHHH I totally fangirled over cassidy for like 2 hours lmao and I got Batman: Arkham City so I'm just flailing all over the place lol
 
I just booked the last thing for my holiday, my Chicago Comic Con ticket!! Less than 5 months to go!
 
I'm happy because this thread was revived and I completely forgot it existed!! 😀

Also, I'm gonna be dog-sitting this week to a dog who I love and he's so cute. I dog-sat him a few years ago and he follows me around and sleeps with me at night. 😀 So looking forward to playing with him again, hehe.
 
Despite recent events in my life, I'm starting to take control of my life again. Just got back from school orientation, am back with my family, and am working things out with my fiance, and we are better than we have ever been. I'm finally doing something right, for once, and I'm happy 🙂

Spring is here! Well, spring temperatures. I'm able to be outside more, and there's more sunlight. I'm happier. 🙂
 
I'm happy as I can get on the chat from the library! So when I have big gaps at work now I can go to my second home! 😛
 
Life is generally going good. Very different, but very good.
 
I am very happy with the beautiful weather!

I'm also happy that I've succeeded in staying positive throughout lots of crazy times recently. I've surprised myself with how well I have been handling life changes.
 
I'm happy because for the first time in ages I feel like I can actually relax and not be stressing over college assignments. Not sure how long it'll last though 😛
 
Im happy because im about to get tore right into a Snickers. Mmmmmmm. Ive got 2 and i just cant wait.
