The Happiness Thread

I'm happy because my husband just brought me some bloody steak tips!! Yeah, I like my steak as rare as they can legally give it to me.

I'm a hypoglycemic with low iron so eating steak is almost ALWAYS guaranteed to make me feel AWESOME! It's totally good times.

I could probably take over the world right now. For serious.

I cannot eat my meat rare, it always has to be well done. Anything that resembles blood, and gaaah. No way. 😛

I just made a homemade iced coffee that tastes delicious. Now I don't need to spend $4 everyday to buy one. 😎

that's awesome! when I try to make homemade iced coffee it never turns out right. :-(
So last night right before falling asleep, my 4 year old popped her eyes open and said:

"Oh! Now I know why the earth is so big! Because there has to be room for all the countries and all the unicorns and the birds and the squirrels and the turtles..." she continued naming animals for awhile then paused and said excitedly, "and the giraffes!"

Like the giraffe, not the unicorn was the mystical creature.

***If you don't like having TMI about pregnancy related things, don't read any more!***

I had my weekly check up yesterday and I am dilated at 1 cm and the head is at -1 station. I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY!!! I had a horrible day on Tuesday with nasty BH contractions and back spasms, so it's nice to know that it wasn't for nothing. (I do realize you can be dilated for weeks before birth, but when my water broke with my first kid, I was at a 0. It was very discouraging.)

Anywho, I'm 37 weeks along today, so I can encourage and hope and be impatient now!!

I did a woodburning from the most recent episode of True Blood and my mom wants it!

She's never asked to have one of my woodburnings before!

I just got back from seeing the last Harry Potter movie with a friend and we had fun. 😀 We ended up going to the DVD section in Walmart after and talked about movies and shows for about an hour in the isles. It was good times. 🙂
 
Yay! my Seinfeld DVD set arrived today! In my accout at Amazon it said that the package would be expected to arrive around September 2nd. But it has arrived today after just a bit after 2 weeks. I've been waiting forever and already started watching it!
 
Totally awesome day!

I got a commission for a woodburning! I am gonna get paid!!! AHAHAHA!

And a large group for True Blood on Deviantart made me their artist of the month. This is awesome because I've only contributed one piece so far, and it was enough that I got picked!

It should be pretty decent. The person hasn't decided yet what size they want, which has a big affect on how much I'll be asking for it.

It's her son's wedding picture. . .most likely . . . or her grandson. Either of them will be fun. Though, I do love wedding pictures. Plus, more detail in all the clothing and stuff.

I'm still super excited! *bounces in seat
 
I'm in the middle of pranking my former high school band director because I was robbed of my senior prank. SO excited! This is going to be hysterical! if he loves it, it's going to be awesome, and if he hates it, I'm not in the band and he doesn't even know which class did it.
