Yup, you're absitively posilutely right! That wasn't the best discussion on the boards. It was way too heated. This is much better. I like laughing.

Sorry, to butt into your little dialogue here (😉) but how about Roseanne and Dan Conner from "Roseanne" ?!? I haven't seen all of it and I know they had some petty fights, but overall they were a very happy couple, weren't they? Neither were too romantic or anything, but they were simply happy with each other.
 
Ohh he had an affair with his fathers nurse when they won the lottery....Rosannes all but forgave him.....eventually then he died.....

And Allycat....you know your welcome in our dialogue😉
 
Yeah, Roseanne! I love that show, but he did die, but only after Roseanne took him back, so I guess they were a happy couple without the whole dying thing.

Well, the show is in syndication here... so I'm not entirely familiar with the story... sorry 🙁

Anyway... there has to be at least 1 couple that had no problems... what about the couple from the Brady Bunch, maybe?
 
But so far we've only mentioned sitcoms and that's not the same as a drama series with the exception of 7th Heaven (which I for many reasons wish not to discuss cause in that direction lies only off topic talk).

I'm not quite satisfied when it comes to the drama section.

I LOVE Married with Children! That's a great show. They stayed together no matter what and that is true love.
 
Ma and Pa Walton....they Stayed together and it was a Drama, then The Ingalls od 'The Prairie'
We had a show here called the Darling Buds of May...David Jason and Pam Ferris....The Larkins were always faithful and stayed together and even their Daughter. Played by Catherine Zeta Jones married a man and stayed with him for the rest of the series.....so its not unheard of.
 
Nope. But it isn't a drama without some drama, so they are few and far between...

BTW, I just saw the quote by Spike on your sig. I laughed so hard because I just had spicy buffalo wings for dinner.

LOL, well what the heck kinda wings are those? Spicy wings are the only way to go. 😀

But, I've got another one: Donna and Eric from "That 70's Show." They're doing pretty good so far.
 
Most happy couples are friends. I think that Monica and Chandler on Friends were a great couple. Kirsten and Sandy on The OC are a great couple as well!
 
Folks, you've forgotten the happiest couple of all...Marge and Homer Simpson...after all that stuff with the cameras making their lives into TV for 15 years, they're still together!😉 C'mon...Marge and Homie are the ultimate happy TV couple. Sure they've had some drama, but don't we all? Still going strong!

I think you may be asking an impossible question here... the category implies there's gonna be drama... hence the name.
