The Horrendous Fashion on BTVS

all the old outfits from season 3 earlier really, i just overlooked because i thought, well, it was a while ago.
so the only one that stands out to me is Willow at the start of Selfless. She's walking along with some teacher, wearing an orange/red jumper and a skirt, yep yep fine... and then we zoom out and she's wearing stocking that are the EXACT SAME COLOUR AS THE JUMPER. it frightened me. more than the dead frat boys in the next scene.

I agree. I kind of hope it was just the grief of Tara's death that made her pick that out...

Also, the entire episode of 'The Replacement' kind of scared me a little in terms of fashion choices. I just remember Buffy breaking out the leather pants and an ugly top, and DumbXander also participating in the ugly shirt parade. I don't know, that episode just really sticks out in my head.

Now that I think of it, Xander has always kind of dressed like a doofus...

the clothes in Buffy are facinating (to me anyway). When buffy is feeling confident she's generally pretty sexy but when she's low on confidence she tends to dress in less sexy gear (particularly in seasons one and two). Also in season three Buffy dresses very feminine and demure compared to Faith's ultra-sexy, sultry clothes. it is only towards the end of the season when she's faced up to the 'faith' inside her that she too starts going for the leather pants and all.

Buffy's fashion is great in season four - lots of truely spectacular skirts. Buffy's worst outfit ever (imo) is one she wears in 'The Replacement' - it's some awful tie-died thing with big trousers. just horrendus!
