So, I was recently in my house forum and I was thinking: "This is really great, but I wonder which Hogwarts house is most like Drogyn." Well, I decided to ask other people, but I keep getting different answers, so I think that this would be a cool thing to discuss. So, tell which house here equals which house there and why. You gotta add why, or it doesn't count. And then maybe we can get to the bottom of this. 😀
 
I know there has been a discussion about this before, but I don't think there's a specific thread for it.

I will keep saying that Raiden is Ravenclaw, but I don't think anyone really agrees with me 😀
(Guess it's Slytherin then eh?)
 
I'd say Vahla Ha'nesh (my house!) is more like Hufflepuff ... cause we're overlooked sometimes and we're not exactly the most active members ... but we're still the best! No question ... we're totally winning the house cup this year. *group high five*

Hufflepuff, are the walkovers of Hogwarts. I bet you could geta Hufflepuff to walk of a Cliff if you told them to(not ask them.....why would you!!).

No, the honourable Vahla Ha'Nesh, the Brave and True are obviously Gryffindor.

Drogyn, i see as Slytherin, simply because, although its considered an evil one, you cannot deny within its midst are some brilliant people who, arent thatbad.

The Mighty Merrick, i see as Ravenclaw, an intelligent bunch.

Which leaves poor Raiden as Hufflepuff, but only because that is the house that's left.

We may be walkovers, but at least our color is yellow! Woo ... *unenthused yelp* Great huh? Oh, who am I kidding ... Hufflepuffs suck. 🙁

You see I still can't see us as Gryffindor, although the other houses do seem to argue with us a lot, and I know a few people in Drogyn find us a threat! I'll mention no names! *cough* Akasha *cough* Wesley *cough*

Anyway my point is, that we have got a lot of similarities to Gryffindor but it is the other Houses attitudes to us that made me opt for Hufflepuff!

I see this as very offending. Not that Hufflepuffs aren't cute and all but hm, I just don't see Raiden as Hufflepuff.. Just considering the character we're named after I'd say Slytherin..

Lol yeah I wish 😉 Slytherin is the house were all the evil wizards come from. Which doesn't mean that we're evil it's just that I think the whole "Bring forth the best!"-thing is very very Slytherin. They have very talented wizards and witches, but many of them tend to lean to the dark side of magic..

It wasn't meant as offensive....it was simply the only house left......if people want to associate ttheir houses with a HP one, then the ones i suggested fit, except you,. but as the other houses are taken out, there is only Raiden and Hufflepuff left......

another thing that sticks you with Hufflepuff though.......this 'house war' Raiden has yet to get involved.....Hufflepuff is also the house that either stays clear, or tries to Remain neutral.....they are Switzerland!!!

again NOT meant offensive.......ask Harry Lime.......

well Sweden would have ben a good one to use, but then i couldnt have referenced Harry Lime......LOL.

and as for the above it comment......fair game.....but it makes the rivalry fun.

I would see Raiden as Ravenclaw...IF Merrick wasn't there.....like i say,its not because i think there is some obvious connection, its just that there isnt two Ravenclaws in Hogwarts......
 
I've never even heard of a house war. I know that you guys had a thread about which house is better. Was that considered the war?

After reading the posts (and not ever having seen HP), I learned about the houses. We are definitely not Hufflepuff. We're one of the others, I'm just not sure which one.
 
I don't know whether they are supposed to be secret, but every house has one or two lines describing them.. like the House of "good quality 1, good quality 2, etc". Maybe we could post all of these and compare them to the HP-houses based on that description.
 
That might be a little bit more accurate. I don't think they are secret. You just don't know everyone else's saying, because you don't have access to their house. But at the very beginning, I think you could see all four houses and their slogans. And I can tell by looking at your sig Allycat, that you're is "NecTemere, NecTimide" And what exactly does that mean?
 
Then what was the point in even posting.

I see Merrick as Ravenclaw(but i would perfer it to be Sylitheren, that could be so much fun then)
Drogyn as Sylitheren, because they cause a lot of trouble.
Raiden as hufflepuff because they tend to stay out of all the fun. Fun being the house wars and stuff.
Vahla Ha'nesh as Gryffindor, because that is the only one left and it doesn't fit any of the other houses.

LMAO, at causing trouble.

Anyway, if all Houses could just post their descripition once. It's no secret, because they used to be viewable to all. Anyway, ours is:

Drogyn - House of loyalty, patience and determination. "Nec Temere Nec Timide" - House of the Bull.

"Nec Temere Nec Timid" is Latin for "Neither rashly nor timidly."
