Just cause I'm curious...who's going to actually to go the trouble of postponing a Friday night out to stay home and watch this? Who's going to DVR it? What do you expect from it? Who has to watch the whole Sarah Connors/Dollhouse block?

Inquiring minds want to know. 🙂

So far on the list I've got...well...me.

Oh and non-North American peoples...sniff, sniff...I feel for ya guys.

Don't feel too bad for them - Hotspot Shield plus a Fox (thus Hulu) show means they can watch it on Saturday - but I won't be

Nudge nudge ya know what I mean?
It's also Friday of a holiday weekend for those who get Presidents' Day off, which will hurt it just a little bit more. I'm kind of surprised they didn't schedule the premiere opposite the Super Bowl.

I will be eagerly sitting at home watching it, hoping that it doesn't suck.

I'm gonna sit at home and watch it and Terminator. I only watch Terminator for Summer, because aside from her and Sarah Connor, the acting sucks. But hey. 😉 And besides, I can't go to bars yet so going out on Fridays doesn't mean much.

But I'll be sure to watch and report back with my thoughts. 😀

Aww, I want to watch it on Friday too! :bluesad:

well i chose A before seeing D, since im in the UK ill probably be seeing it sometime on Saturday.

I chose the last option. 😉 *Nudges and winks*

I'm pretty excited and really hope it'll be good even though I'm not so sure about the premise of the show. But I haven't seen anything by Joss Whedon that I didn't love so I'm optimistic!

Option D, non-American here. But paperdoll and I planned to watch it together as soon as it's out, so we're probably gonna watch it either Friday night if we stay up long enough (which would be like 6am or something, lol), or then on Saturday when we get up.

Same post, same time karma ;)
What is with all this nudging and winking? HUH? HUH? 😵

I'm definitely going to see it this Friday, then I'm gonna DVR it AND AND put it on my iPod. Lol. I really hope it isn't horrible, because then I'd feel horrible a few weeks afterwards for the person or animal sitting next to me.

HAHA. I love you. 😉

I am indifferent; if I had a DVR, I would DVR it, but I have trouble keeping track of when and where things are on. Anything I watch is sporadic at best, one episode here and another there. I doubt I will watch it. No disrespect intended but ... Eliza is not among those I would make an effort to watch- act at least. Though she was good in The New Guy and boy can she ride that bull...

Eliza's a very capable actress. Certainly better than Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Eliza better than Sarah - Maybe to look at but in the acting dept. she sure hasn't shown it until now. Maybe this show will do it.
My friends and I are having a Dollhouse viewing party. Most weekends we chill here and drink a bit anyway. I plan to have a few beers, and some popcorn...I would say pizza but working at Pizza Hut has turned me off pizza a bit, unfortunately...I can't believe it's only five days away.

capable of what? varying her performance? I dont think so.. one Eliza is the same as the other Eliza. What is she capable of?
Being in the non-american crowd I'm gonna see it one way or another...

I'm gonna watch it because it's a Joss Whedon series more than Eliza's involvement.
Joss has an amazing track record imho so it is a must for me to tune in this project also.

Can't wait to see what I'll think of it.

scobro agrees: capable of what? varying her performance? I dont think so.. one Eliza is the same as the other Eliza. What is she capable of?

Well I think you're extremely wrong...I think she does a fine job of giving "varied" performances and portraying different characters. Tru did not make me think of Faith, her character in The New Guy did not seem like Faith or Tru, etc. And based on the clips we've seen of Dollhouse it seems like she does a perfectly fine job of playing different characters as well.

I'm totally gonna be there, Friday night at 8, with popcorn and all that. I'm having one of my Jossverse-loving friends over and we're gonna watch both the Dollhouse premiere and Serenity (she finished Firefly and hasn't seen it yet). I really hope it's good!

I'll definitley be watching, though I may have to DVR it and watch it on Saturday morning. I may be going skiing with my friends.
