A Prosecutor is murdered and the VCU team investigate the seedy Los Angeles S&M scene.

It's still on "mystery of the week" style episodes, so you can start the series now, and not miss anything important.

Hmm, good question. I'd say yes and no. Nothing mind-blowing, but a new layer has been added, as I'm sure will be the case throughout.

Rebecca doesn't like to be called Becky. Becky was the name she went by before she was abducted.

Rebecca has a complete freakout, when a perp slaps cuffs on her.

Paul is starting to come off as a bit of a sanctimonious twit.

Adam Baldwin and Katie Finneran are getting steadily more fun to watch. They get the lion's share of the dark humour. Adam's character Danny likes to present cases for the unit to take on based on his desire to go undercover and wear a nifty disquise. 🙂

There's more fuel added to the "what's Web all about" question.

Rebecca and Paul are on a stakeout. Rebecca wants to go knock on the door of the guy they're investigating. Paul won't let her. Paul gets a phonecall concerning a family emergency. Paul leaves to go to the hospital. Rebecca goes over to the staked out apartment, and knocks on the door. She gets into trouble.

At the end of the episode Paul suggests to Web that he made the phonecall. Web suggests to Paul that maybe Rebecca did. Either alternative suggests some character idiosyncrasies from either Web, or Rebecca.

There are more suggestions adding to the mystery of why Web chose these particular people for his crew.

Hmm. Web is like the sinister puppet master or something. Or is that just a red herring? I just hope it's all stranger than what we might imagine. Hope the black humor continues...

From what I'm hearing the real story arc doesn't begin until around ep 4, and surely they'll have to go into that whole Web as puppetmaster thing.
