I have just found the joy of LIVE JOURNAL...and now I spend so much time there. Don't ask why (must be my dorkitude) but I find it so interesting to read other people's journals. Does anyone here do the live journal thing?

I love reading online journals every once in a while. I actually read Neil Gaiman's blog pretty often, and I get a kick out of discovering the journals of random non-famous people. There aren't any that I continually come back to, but they're fun to visit briefly.

i don't have one of these, i tend to find i don't want to read a persons more then once unless they lead really intresting lives!

That is so true! The journal I tend to read the most is written by one of my favorite fanfic writers. I find her entries v. entertaining and through that jounal I have found one or two others that I read on occasion.

people tend to like to get attention, these things give you a chance to write all about you and in theory get an audience
in practice if you want attention and don't do alot other then sit around writing about yourself and your lack of things to do. it aint going to get intresting anytime soon

i read a bunch of journals on LJ regularly...there are some really intelligent people who write great Buffy commentaries, my favourite is probably at http://www.livejournal.com/users/melymbrosia/ and also the Buffy/Angel community http://www.livejournal.com/community/mutant_allies/

Yeah, my favorite is nautibitz' journal because I'm obsessed with her fanfic and whenever she updates, she posts a notice in her live journal.
