So, the story goes...

A new sports stadium has been built in the state capital. It opened recently among criticism and paid praise. The first streaker, nudie run, free-ball joggin, birthday suit wearing naked man, has done his bit in true Aussie fashion.

This letter was placed in the letter box of the family. For once I am thankful for my overly large pictures 😀

The original Greek Olympics were run in the nude. Rename it the Toodyay Olympic Stadium and all will be well.

I don't know why the idea of sexual orientation being so easy to change as that strikes me as hilarious. The next Kimmel challenge: turn your neighbors gay by streaking at a sporting event!

Yeah, I see this letter as a joke, which has been taken seriously by the Perth public. I dont imagine anyone (even up there) could seriously write these words. An odd sense of humour, which reminds me of another resident of Toodyay 😉 (and BB)

The family of the streaker are fuming. The whole thing is so ridiculous, its hysterical. Apparently there is a gofundme to pay the mans streaking fine. I know I'd rather see a naked man evading security over a poor lil piglet! The most exciting part of cricket.

The stadium needed the press, its nice to see a bit of muck around.

I take it you didn't appreciate it OccaQuokka, oh well, sorry. Did you say odd sense of humour, weird would be more accurate . At least I know you is not local , if you were you'd spell it the name of the town 2J. Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

It is true, the family of the man are fuming as the photograph of him doing the streak was on the front page of the West Australian state newspaper and the guy wears board shorts, yep a white bum and thighs were not a give away and that was the reason the family was fuming.

Oh I appreciate it! Thats why I shared it. Thought it was a good local laugh really 😀 The stadium press has been sooooo boring, all the praise then whinging about over priced pies and no parking. I love that there is a bogan blue on the side. All this good press is starting to make Perth look appealing!

I recently remembered Harper Valley PTA, a movie and song that my mother loved. It's about a woman vs the "good and decent" members of her town (particularly on the PTA). Here's the song:

I spoke to a person in the know this morning. The letter was about a man who did a streak around the Toodyay Cricket Pitch. He got caught in the third tackle, it was by all account a well aimed spear tackle, not on the streakers wedding tackle.

If the letter is serious, the people of toodyay are different than I imagined 😕 I love the place but have not been there since the 90's. We used to camp at tablot brook... The stars were spectacular. It may be all houses now.
