The "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" film...

Here's word on what i think is gonna be one of the most intelligent action flicks of the summer. I checked out the trailer and website last night. The link is at the bottom of my post.

Sean Connery looks great as Allen Quartemain (the man is amazing), and Peta Wilson is seriously HOT as a vampiric(!) Mina Harker.

The members of the League...
Allen Quartermain - hunter/explorer (he's the leader, and sort of a retired Indiana Jones)
Captain Nemo - Inventor (kind of the Bruce Wayne of his day)
Mina Harker - Vampire (Peta Wilson plays her as a predator with a conscience)
The Invisible Man (he cooperates as he's promised a cure)
Dr Jekyll/Mister Hyde (Hyde is a wrecking machine!)
Dorian Gray (a formerly-evil immortal looking for a fresh start)
Tom Sawyer (he grew up to be a Secret Service agent!)

I've had my eye on this movie for a while now 🙂 It started out because of Shane West being Tom Sawyer, but from doing some background reading its now more than that 🙂
