OK so we have a new thread to get everything organised!

We will be meeting on the 8th August 2009 in London.

Now we need to know who is going then where to meet up. So, please post in this thread if your coming and where would be best to meet for you and we will then try and find somewhere central to meet.

I'm definitely going 🙂 I know Sara and DoI are going as well, but I guess they should write that in here themselves as soon as they come online (though Kass is currently away from the Boards, doing a eurotrip, right?).

I think the best place to meet would be a central tube station that is connected to many lines, so that people can get there easily. So my idea would be King's Cross St. Pancras, cos, you know, I think that's as central as it gets. That station connects to like 5 or 6 different tube lines, plus railway. So that would be my suggestion.

I couldn't get the funds, or more importantly, the time off work that quick so I won't be heading to the UK again for probably another year or so.

I would really love to go but I don't think I'll be able to afford it as I may be able to get there but don't think I can afford like a hotel or anything 🙁

hmmm meeting strangers! Sounds like a plan! I'll see if I can come along and persuade a fellow Buffy fan from a differnet forum who live in london to come along! hahaha

What a good way of getting to know us ;)
I'm thinking of meeting around 11am-noon ish. People can leave whenever they need to. I will make sure everyone is safe and noone gets lost 😉 For the people that are going I will make sure they have a contact number for me.
 
Tube is easy really.... 😱 Just follow the yellow brick road, except it might not be yellow....

If I were to come I'd be coming into Waterloo and then I'd have to tube it across to Kings Cross, so maybe those going London train to waterloo could meet there in the station before jumping the tube? (maybe?)
 
I will have to get somebody's number or something, as I have work 'til 12 in the afternoon that day. So I'll probably be in london about 4ish. 🙂
 
I know I'm not meeting up with y'all at the start, but I would suggest Victoria as it's nearer to things in London; and KC/St Pancras could end up with some people at KC, some at StP and what with the 10000 different exits to the tube station I can imagine half the meet being spent finding people 😉
 
I hadn't posted to say I'd come, but I could consider it, I was just checking out flights and stuff!
 
OK we can meet at London Victoria as it is central to everything. My suggestion is inside the main train station outside Burger King. I'll be there early so as to help anyone that might get lost or turn up early 😉
 
No can do i'm afraid - i'm moving into a new flat in September. Plus that is Rafa's first tournament after injury...i'll be glued to the tv!

Sorry I won't be coming, I shall be out of the country and in Germany when this is happening. Im not sure I was even going to come in the first place, I think I was just interested at the time lmao! But have a great time meeting up guys! 😀
 
I had expressed interest at the start but i am out of the country till the end of the year so no can do, hope it goes well then and maybe next year if it happens again il be around 🙂
