Apparently Booth and Brennan investigate a car bombing, and get involved with terrorists, or something like that.
 
I really liked this episode.For me it was more intresting than the pilot episode.There was more of the squints in this episode and I loved the whole sexy attorney thing."How many days a week does sexy sleep over?"lolI also really like Angela.She kinda reminds me of Cordy.Maybe that's why I like her so much.I also felt bad for Bones at the end.She doesn't have a man in her life while Booth is doing just fine with Sexy.I hope she gets some love intrest soon.

I don't know that he's doing so well with Sexy Attorney. There at the end he seemed to have something (or someone?) else on his mind. They didn't seem to be comfortable together at all......I loved that Dr. Brennan shows up at his apt. and she's there, tho....that was a funny scene. Loved Angela trying to set Dr. B and Booth up, that was too cute, and she's totally right, of course. They won't get together, that's just how TVland works, but it's still so cute to watch them dancing around eachother like moths to a flame, not seeing what is so perfectly plain to EVERYONE ::heart:: . Angela was also right about Tessa not being at all secure, I could see that in the first scene she's in, at Booth's apt. I mean, secure women don't need to parade around in bra, panties and boyfriend's unbuttoned shirt when a colleague comes knocking. Tessa is in competition with Dr. B and she knows it. Problem is, she's the ONLY one who knows it. Meanwhile, Booth is showing he cares in the only way he knows how, by telling her to "stay in the car" (yeah, I see that happening, NOT) and to "be careful," etc. He trying to protect her, which she's having none of. She's trying to get a reaction out of him, with the "You're mad," and "Let's talk about Tessa" thing....so they're both playing an interesting game.

I liked the case they worked on, too. It was interesting, in today's political and threat-filled climate, to see the FBI and Homeland Security tiptoeing around the racial profiliing issue. The wife was completely in the right in her statement about the investigators turning her life and home upside down because they wanted to prove her husband innocent. Yeah, right......this is the real world. There were looking for ANY damning evidence and would have convicted him on it, even the smallest little thing that proved their theory, and to hell with her life, her family, her home, the lives and friendships of any kids, if they had any....whatever.

Ok, the flesh-eating beetles grossed me out! Yuck!

And OMG, DB in a suit....yummy! And no shirt? Yummier......
 
To me, the best thing about this show so far is the bickering and the wisecracks. Like when "Bones" and Booth are driving around together, arguing about the case or their personal flaws or whatever. There were moments I was thinking they could just turn this show into a comedy.

The cases themselves seem a little too pat and kind of superficial"”too rushed. But I never watch crime shows. I'm curious to see how the chemistry/tension between B & B will work itself out.
 
I think it's kinda funny that Booth exploits Bones' non-cop status: she pursues the questioning, the literal arm twisting of a suspect. It's good cop/bad cop and she gets to be the bad cop! Heh.
 
As usual, the case itself was just okay. But the whole Temp/Booth stuff was interesting. Booth's new girlfriend, Angela wanting to get them together, etc. Great stuff. Plus, David shirtless!
 
I liked it a little better than the pilot episode. I mean, like others before me have said, I'm not really interested in the crimes themselves ... I just like the Brennan and Booth semi-love story. It's a good show, though. It has some quirky characters and it's not exactly a carbon copy of other cop shows. I just hope FOX doesn't cancel it before it gets a chance to shine ...
 
I hear ya.....cuz you know they have such a stellar reputation!

I read an interview David did on the press junket for Bones, and he said something about it being character driven, rather than "solve the crime" driven like the rest of the procedural shows are. He said that was why he liked it, because it was different. Can't remember where I saw the interview, tho.
