Here's a project that took over a year to complete while I worked out the sculpting and the molding so that everything would be intact when pulled from the mold.
Sculpted on a real, large human skull which means the detail on this one is pretty creepy...the Master is gone...or is he?

Thanks!
I was very fortunate to catch my make-up teacher throwing away his two human skulls one day and talked him into giving them to me instead.
He got them when he was working with Rick Baker "Back in the day."

Waw, awesome work! (it did make me laugh tough, because I know a girl whose natural facial expression is always like that. So a friend told me "She actuallys looks unkind because she has angry eyebrows". The Master has angry eyebrows too!)

That is funny!
Yeah...when you stop to consider that The Master is (was) well over 600 years old...well...I think I'd be cranky too!

That is excellent! It might just be my favourite of all the props you've done. I would love to have this one on display in my house to freak out my more straight laced friends!

Thanks guy's and Gals!
It was pretty funny that while I was standing in line at a craft store to buy the big square glass case to put the skull in, there were these two little old ladies in front of me. One of them turned around and looked at the case in my hands and said, "What are you going to put in that? A human skull?" and then she kinda giggled to her friend and I said,
"Nope, a Vampire Skull!" They stopped giggling pretty fast!
Back in the day's when I was in the SCA we used to call that
"Freaking the Mundanes."🙂😱🙂😱

Yeah...I have a broken one (the back of the head came out too thin) stuck into the stone wall out in front of our house...I'm sure it freaks out the passer's by!

Rick Baker... wow. That's pretty nifty. That's A list material there.
The last thing Shawn worked on was "Greystoke-Legend of Tarzan" which kept him in England for five years. Among other things he sculpted three of the Monkey's that appear in the film.
When he got back to the States apparently Bakers then wife found out what everyone else already knew, that Baker had been fooling around on her, and Bakers company that was co-owned by him and his wife promptly SPLIT and that was when Shawn left Hollywood for good...
I'm not dishing or anything, it's all pretty much common knowledge now but still interesting...
Don't even get me started about the things Shawn told me about working with Tom Savini!😀
