The Mayor and Faith

Ok, so I was looking at my latest wallpaper and it got me thinking.

What do you think would happen if Faith had decided to go good again while the Mayor was still alive.

Just ignore for the sake of the question that if the Mayor didnt die Faith would likely remain evil. (And I dont mean to start a discussion about if Faith was really evil or if she just wanted a dad etc, etc,)

How do you think the Mayor would react. He thought of Faith as as a daughter. If she suddenly turned against him, would he still love her? Or would he forget all those fatherly feelings and treat her like he treated Buffy.

I know under the circumstances none of this would ever have happened, but Im curious, so pretend, for me.

 

[What happened to good TV?]

Although I think he genuinely loved Faith(In a fatherly sense) I honestly think he would soon get over that and want to get with the massacring. Although I think it would've seriously depended on the circumstances of her going 'good' again. good in the sense that she was on Buffy's side, or what. But anyway, regardless I think the Mayor loved Faith on his side, by his side. If things changed....so would he.

Interesting thought.. Hm. Yeah I think he loved her, and I believe he would have thought in a way that would have been "logical" to him. If she went "good", she'd likely try to kill him (or be on the team that wanted him dead), so he'd have to punish her? Kill her, most likely. Hm.
