The memorability of Angel

I'm more of an Angel fan but I'd say that Buffy has more memorable episodes, as crazy as that sounds. Ats has always been more arc-driven and less accessible than its sister show.

However I would say that Ats for me is more rewarding in terms of arc, for example the 'Darla' arc, but Buffy is best for when you just want to dip in and watch the odd episode

You know what, when you say it like that I totally agree. I can say I want to watch this or this episode of BtVS, but I can,t do it with Ats (except for Smile Time)... Buffy had more stand out episodes that you can decide to watch alone imo...

I've re-watched AtS many, many times, so I'm pretty well-versed in it.

I do, however, have a hard time recalling specifics in S4. I've seen it a few times of course, but might have blocked it out because it's so bad, lol.

I can't remember any details of Angel...whereas I can practically recite some episodes of Buffy (Restless) but to be fair, I have re-watched Buffy in it's entirety at least 7 times or more. I have only seen Angel about once. I started my second re-watch about...4 or 5 months ago, and I'm still on season 2 haha. I usually finish a Buffy season in about a week.

If someone says something pretty vague about a BTVS episode, 90% of the time I can name it, but when it comes to Angel I'm slightly clueless haha. I remember basic/obvious stuff but I'm not a pro like I am when it comes to Buffy 😉.
