THE MOON’S CALL Part 1

Oz opens his eyes, he is glad to see the sunlight is moving down the sky towards the surface of the dams water towards the window.

SONG: HAWKWIND – HURRY ON SUNDOWN

The clock on the wall opposite the window and smiled as he saw it was four twenty,

OZ
(smiles)
Good, not long until sunset.

As he looked at the clock he became aware of the shape under the sheet beside him in the bed.

OZ
Morning Velvet

He liked having Velvet be at his side in bed, he was to feel Velvet near him yet he disliked her attitude she always found some excuse to show herself off to anyone she fancied.
Oz returns his gaze to the mural of a sailing boat on a river on the wall with the clock on a tree by the river. Oz really liked looking at the girls in the boat.

OZ
There is something about the bikini’s both of the young women are painted as wearing.

Oz wasn’t sure if it was the shade of white of the girl’s bikinis or that the bikinis were strapless. He did like to see their nice shoulders. Oz looks at Velvets shoulders but he is not interested, he rolls to the edge of the bed where and looks out of the window at the suns reflection on the water’s surface. Going to the end of the bed and picks up his tracksuit and puts it on. He looks out of the window on the back of the house. He notices a strange man wandering through the orange orchard.

He picks up a leaf and looks at the veins on the leaf.

THE MOODY BLUES THE BALANCE

At the end of the bed he slips on his sand shoes then he wanders around the end of the bed then makes his way to the bedroom door and opens it into the hallway.
Immediately he turns right into the bathroom. In the bathroom he reaches to and turns on the shower. Taking off his tracksuit he showers himself, then he faces the sink to clean his teeth. Drying off his body he put his tracksuit back on then he puts on his sand shoes as his listens to any movement in the bedroom by putting his ear on a glass.

OZ
Oh Velvet you did go back to sleep. We can’t have that, still I know how to wake you up.

He opens the bedroom door and looks to Velvet, then he curls his fingers around the end of the door then slams it shut.

OZ
There, that should have woken you up!

Oz walks away from the bedroom door and grins. He walks out onto the veranda he leans against a railing post beside the steps. Oz looks to see if any of the others were there but as no one was he goes towards Bethany who is relaxing on the bank of the dam. He went to stand behind Bethany’s shoulders. He notices Alicia having her usual late afternoon swim, Oz smiles and sits down next to Bethany. Bethany has both of her legs dangling in the water.

OZ
They do look good.

BETHANY
I really don’t mind if you do look at them as long as we are not too obvious about it. My relationship with Anders is so very strained of late.

Oz looks at her as if he didn’t know what she meant.

OZ
Is that due to Anders not touching you?

Bethany smiles to Oz.

BETHANY
He hardly ever talks to me now, I just hope that if Anders and I break up it is at the same time as you and Velvet.

Oz stares at Bethany,

BETHANY
I do like that but our time with our partners is not over yet.

Bethany grins as they stare at each other.

BETHANY
I hope it we do something soon or we might need to stay in the water.

OZ
Yes thankfully though the water of the dam is cold enough to help us remove our thoughts of each other.

BETHANY
If our innuendos to each other get any more than they are we will need to behave like a couple soon. If you had chosen who you wanted most, Velvet Alicia or me.

Bethany smiles to Oz.

OZ
The decision would be hard what with your and Alice’s form.

BETHANY
I do know that you would like to feel her but to say the same about me well, thank you.

OZ
It is true what some people say, I do like to look at Alicia’s but as far as I am concerned you are as nice as her.

Bethany smiles to Oz.

BETHANY
Thank you for saying that, I know she will like to hear that you think of her being as nice as me.

Oz looks to Bethany.

BETHANY
You do know that Alicia wants you to notice her don’t you?

Oz smiles to Bethany as she continues.

BETHANY
The problem I think she is more likely get you before I do.

OZ
That is only if Velvet is not about.

Bethany is happy that he has noticed Alicia.

BETHANY
Today is the first time she has dressed herself with the intention of having you see so much of her.

OZ
And I do admit that I did.

Oz looks across the water, he is happy that the sun is nearing the horizon, he looks at Bethany but she looked away.

OZ
It will be that time again soon won’t it, I take it your problems with Anders are still ongoing?

Bethany mutters a reply to his comment and looks up at him.

BETHANY
It has been almost a month since I felt Ander’s hand any of part me, yet he has done nothing against me, I feel so much for him right now.

Oz shook his head,

OZ
There are times when I just do not understand Anders.

BETHANY
Why?

OZ
Just look at you, at how lovely you are.

BETHANY
I prefer not to think of it, I like that people often remember to look up at my eyes plus I like how you describe me.

Bethany grins to herself.
Alicia’s head and shoulders rose out of the water between them. Alicia smiles very enticingly to each of them.

ALICIA
I really would love to rise higher out of the water for the both of you to look at me but well, as I dare say you’ve noticed, my top is very see through and I don’t think I am wearing a bra.

Alicia rests a hand on Bethany’s thigh and a hand on David’s knee just as Velvet walks passed them. Bethany turns to watch Velvet walk away from them.

BETHANY
Oz is she wiggling her bottom like that on purpose?

OZ
If she was walking in front of someone she fancies she would move herself a lot more and do so in a way that let the person know exactly what her intention was.

ALICIA
At least her skin looks firm, I’ve seen so many people dress like that whose skin looks like that of a seventy year old woman.

OZ
And it is you who she wants, you would soon get a feel of how firm her skin is and that would be regardless on if you were a boy or a girl.

Alicia smiles to Oz,

OZ
Yes I grew to like her but I soon found her personality a bit lacking.

Alicia looks to Bethany, after making sure Oz cannot hear her.

ALICIA
What does Oz want to see the most?

BETHANY
Be glad that all he wants to do is to see them, he does not even want to touch them.

Alicia gets more and more confused.

BETHANY
If you are that desperate to get with him you might want to strip off for him, thing is you need to know which part of you he likes to see he most.

Bethany gives Alicia a cheeky grin then she smiles to Oz.

BETHANY cont’d
I hope this will make both of you smile.

Alicia rose up to waist height out of the water.

ALICIA
Well, will you look at that, I am wearing a bra!

Bethany and Oz stare at Alicia, then they both smile to her. Alicia looks to Oz and grins at his increased interest. Bethany notices Oz’s interest in Alicia then realizes where on Alicia’s body he is looking.
Bethany whispers to Alicia.

BETHANY
Oz looks as though it was your shoulders his eyes were on.

Alicia immediately undoes the top three buttons of her blouse and opens it wide enough to slide it halfway to her elbows. Oz looks at her shoulders and smiles.

OZ
Mm they are good, as nice as they are I have no idea why I love to look at shoulders, I just love to look at them.

Alicia looks to Bethany and smiles,

ALICIA
Thanks, if you hadn’t told me I don’t know when I would have noticed that.

Oz is perplexed.

OZ
Really?

Bethany grins.

BETHANY
It has been four weeks since Anders has put an arm about me or caressed me. If either of you decide to offer me a compliment or three, I will not reject it.

From the clearing

VELVET
(calls)
Come on everyone, join me on the lawn.

Velvet wants them to sit in a circle. Alicia and Oz are near Velvet, Anders and Bethany, Gavin and Myra, Graham and Emily, Steve and Jemma complete the circle.

VELVET
To the latest members of the pack, Myra and Gavin this is where we always meet on the night of the full moon, before our usual monthly excursion.

Velvet looks to each around the circle. They all put a back pack on to put their clothes in before they morph into a werewolf.

VELVET
I have no idea what you guys have got planned for tonight. Personally I am going to see an old boyfriend who I used to like, you lot can do whatever you like. For now we will go as usual to our lookout.

Velvet stands up then starts to run along the pathway they have started through the forest. They jump over branches that had fallen off trees as they venture closer to the lookout.
As their speed increases their view of the path ahead gets lower and their vision starts to rock forward and backwards through the bushes.

The closer they get to the lookout the slower they run until they stop to hide behind a bush and morph back to their human forms except for Steve and Jemma who stay as werewolves.
Bethany points to a young couple at the look out.

BETHANY
Who, what are they?

A couple who are lying on the bonnet of their sports car, looking towards the lights of the city.
Anthony smiles, he licks his lips then smiles to Veronica.
Veronica rolls over onto her knees, she rests her head on the roof of their car.

VERONICA
What is that in the undergrowth under that bush?

Anthony turns his attention to look at the bushes.

ANTHONY
I do see something there, though I do not know what. There are several sets of eyes that seem to be watching us yet at the end are two set of an animals eyes, a large dog maybe.

VERONICA
The height of them might indicate two large Alsatian’s.

After a few seconds of staring at the animals eyes Anthony recoils in horror. Shaking his head he watches as the eyes rose up then all of them drop to a Doberman’s height.

ANTHONY
I do not know what they are from, but you’d best get on the back seat of the car, I’ve no idea what they are but I’m not risking anything.

Veronica slides from the cars bonnet to stand on the ground, she quickly gets into the car and onto the back seat of the car. Watching as Anthony scrambles onto the driver’s seat.
As he was about to start the car an angry werewolf suddenly appeared at Veronica’s side window, it slobbers on the glass and growls very loudly at her.

Anthony starts the car and slams it into reverse gear to get out of the lookout, then he raced away from there.
The pack morph to be humans and began to walk to the next lookout.

BETHANY
What we just did then was fun.

The pack wander along the road towards the next lookout, none of them bothers to be a wolf.
Oz speaks to Alicia.

OZ
Notice that none of us bothers much about being naked.

ALICIA
Yes I did notice that, it is nice that we okay about being so free?

They gather at the railing in the end lookout that looks towards the city.

VELVET
If you look down the hill you can almost see the house where I intend to go. I know I am going to enjoy myself there.

Velvet wanders to the back of the lookout and screams as loud as she can


SONG: TRANSVISION VAMP – BABY I DON’T CARE

She changes to be a werewolf that howls. As a werewolf she runs down the hillside dodging all branches and twigs that pull at her lovely fur or her hide. She soon stands at the edge of the road and changes to be a human.

THE MOONS CALL Part 3

She is opposite the house where the man she wants to see has his house. The man had been in his garden watering his flowers when he hears the scream become a howl.

MAN
Oh no, she is here again.

He runs to be inside his house. Across the road the werewolf become Velvet, she looks to the house then runs to be inside the front door.

VELVET
Hello Robert, which room are you in?

She runs into one of the front rooms. The room is empty so she runs into the other front room.

VELVET
Well that is a shame there is no one here either.

She goes into the back room not seeing anyone she goes into the kitchen. She notices the lock to the inside of the kitchen door hadn’t been touched.
Velvet went into the passage by the stairs, that went towards the front door. Turning about she glances at the door under the stairs.

VELVET
I wonder if that is the door to the cellar.

She opens the door and goes down the steps onto the stone floor of the cellar. Velvet could see in front of her are the gardening gloves and tools on several work tables.
She wanders a few paces and the side of the room opens up. Velvet stops and looks to the wall.

VELVET
Well look what we have here. Robert has chained himself to the wall.

SONG: ALICE COOPER - POISON

ROBERT
These chains they are made of silver so you cannot touch them.

He grimaces to Velvet then he begins to laugh at her. Yet Velvet only laughs at him in return.

VELVET
And what do you think, will that make me keep my hands off you? You are an idiot it will be so simple for me to touch you, I just need to put your heavy gardening gloves.

VELVET
It is almost as though you had thought of me, nice gauntlet for me and guess what. There is a pretty pair on that table at the bottom of the steps. Not that I’m going to be doing any gardening.

She pulls on the gauntlets over her hands then faces Robert.

VELVET
Now watch this.

Velvet went to stand in front of him then ran the gloves she had put on, along the chains.

VELVET
Guess what, I did not feel any pain, I bet you feel a bit thick now?

Velvet starts to pull at the chains on his waist, the chains on his hips, then the chains on his legs. They all start to fall off. She pulls at the chains that held his body to the wall.

VELVET
And now I’m really going to enjoy myself.

Velvet pulls at the chains that are around his torso and watches them fall to the floor, she morphs to be a werewolf again and starts to rip at his flesh, enjoying herself as she kills him.


BACK AT THE LOOK-OUT

The remaining members are still at the look-out.

OZ
I don’t think Velvet can be bother about the rest of the pack. What do each of you want to do?

Oz looks to Graham and Emily.

GRAHAM
We like to lead a quiet life, we do not have any plans as such but we do like to have a wander in the towns park.

OZ
Okay then, we will meet you there later.

Oz looks to Steve.

STEVE
I’ve had a place organized that I want to take Jemma.

OZ
Where are you going, nearby?

GRAHAM
I know she will like what she’ll find there.

Oz looks to Anders

OZ
Do you have any plans.

BETHANY
Anders and I do.

Most of them begin to walk away, Velvet is chased to the look out. A woman confronts Velvet with a loaded six shot repeater shot gun.

WOMAN
I wanted to keep him as a good friend, but you went and killed him. So I will do the same to you.

VELVET
Not with that you wont.

WOMAN
I was told you would need special silver bullet, that is what these ones are.

Several loud explosions are heard.
Oz walks to the woman.

OZ
Thank you, you have done me, all the pack a favour one I hope we can return should you ever need some help.

Oz is happy.

OZ
Care to come with me Alicia, we can invite Gavin and Myra to join us.

Alicia smiles happily to Oz.

SONG: TRANSVISION VAMP THE ONLY ONE

Anders motions Bethany to follow him, they run off only changing to be werewolves when they were out of sight. They run through low bush along paths through areas where the trees grew to close. On a small clearing in the forest.

ANDERS
If you wait here at this end of the straight before it goes around the bend. I’ll go to the other end of the straight.

Bethany waits at near the end of the straight, a car drive speeds about the corner onto the straight. Bethany remembers what they used to do and changes to be a werewolf as it nears her. The car veers away from her and into the low bush, it bounces then crashes into a tree. Bethany stands and waits until Anders reaches her. He hugs her, tightly.

ANDERS
It has been so long since I’ve been able to do that.

BETHANY
Yes, it has, I thought you had ceased to have any feeling to me.

Anders grimaces to her.

ANDERS
I take it you forgot why I had to keep away from you?

BETHANY
There was a reason, I had forgotten, why what was it?

ANDERS
Last month we went for a run to a chicken farm. The owner had a gun so we ran from there and jumped over a barbed wire fence.

BETHANY
I think I remember that fence, is there a reason why I should remember it though?

ANDERS
I got my timing wrong and caught myself on a barb.

BETHANY
Where did you catch yourself?

ANDERS
In a very tender place and when I get to close to you it REALLY hurts. That is why I have kept away from you.

BETHANY
Oh, ooh!

ANDERS
It was painful, talking to you made it hurt, as did looking at you so I kept away from you, it is almost better now though.

BETHANY
Oh, I’m sorry but I have been getting a bit too close to Oz.

ANDERS
I know, he and Velvet are so distant but I trust Oz not to touch you, well not too much, just then and now maybe.

BETHANY
Now what?

ANDERS
Since my run as a werewolf has healed me, put it like this, I hope you had not planning on getting much sleep for the next few days.

Bethany grins.

THE HUMAN’S CAR IS IMPAILED INTO THE TREE

Anders points to the car in the tree.

ANDERS
Now let’s have a look at the car.

As Bethany reaches the car she groans.
Bethany calls to Anders.

BETHANY
They didn’t wear their seat belts!

Anders runs to look into the car.

ANDERS
Oh no! Stupid damned humans, they’ve got bits of metal and plastic in all parts of them.

BETHANY
Some folk have no consideration for others, now what will we do?

ANDERS
Plan B was to go to a chicken take away, I know you used to love those places.

BETHANY
I did, I don’t remember why though.

ANDERS
You used to love eating the people who work at them places, the smell of the chicken gets all over them.

Bethany grins. They change to be werewolves then run into the forest.

AT THE TAKE AWAY

As a human Anders walks to the front door then pushes it open, he changes to be a werewolf. Bethany waits, to be at his side.
The patrons run away, screaming.
Anders and Bethany change to be human and stand next to each other.

ANDERS
I did love what we just did but seeing you as lovely as you are, it has been so long.

STEVE AND JEMMA DEEP IN THE FOREST

Steve clambers onto some boulders, he motions Jemma to be next to him.

STEVE
Look down there what do you see?

JEMMA
Cars neatly parked, why are they so neatly parked out here?

STEVE
Do you think they might be up to something they don’t want other

people to see?

JEMMA
excitedly

Maybe but, ooh witches is there any possibility they might be witches?

STEVE
Sort of, a type of witch. They are not known as good or bad but they might be known by the colour and they are not racists.

Jemma is excited.

JEMMA
Oh really! You brought me out here to see Black Witches?

STEVE
You might say that, you might also say .. .. ..

JEMMA
Oh! Devil Worshippers?

STEVE
To see them, to talk to them, change and put the fear of someone else’s God in them, fun huh?

JEMMA
Look, here comes another one.

Jemma points to a car approaching the parking area.
The woman drives her car to be neatly parked with the others. They watch the Devil Worshipper leave her car the walk along the path, she takes off her clothes and puts them in a bag at the side of the path then takes out her black robe and puts it on.

STEVE
Now let’s follow her to find out where the others are.

They watch as the woman wanders on a path that seems to go around the boulder, she stops behind where Steve and Jemma were.

JEMMA
That saves us changing to many times.

STEVE
I know, when we had to tell each other what to do next, come on let’s go and Play with their brains.

WITH THE DEVIL WORSHIPPERS

Steve and Jemma walk into the circle where the Devil Worshippers are.

STEVE
Why are you out here?

JEMMA
Who are you?

MAUDE
My name is Maude we are all a type of witch, we are Devil Worshippers so I suggest you ought to leave.

JEMMA
Why would that mean we ought to leave?

MAUDE
There are some here who do not want others watching so I’d suggest you leave as it’ll be dangerous to you if you stay.

STEVE
I could say that to you, in fact as I know how much Jemma likes to find you deviants, you’d best write a will.

MAUDE
Why?

STEVE
Now that we are this close to you there is no way you can escape us.

MAUDE
Really why is that?

Steve and Jemma change to be werewolves, the Devil Worshippers scream then all is quiet.

GRAHAM AND EMILY AT THE TOWN’S PARK IN THE EVENING

As humans they walk slowly, hand in hand, into the towns park. They walk along the path around the edge of the park. Smiling to each other and being happy together.

EMILY
This is the life.

Just beyond the park is the path that leads onto the town’s beach.

DAVID AND ALICIA WITH GAVIN AND MYRA ON THE BEACH

Sitting on a bench seat on the sandy beach they look out to sea.

ALICIA
What can you tell me about them Oz, I don’t know anything about them?

OZ
I know everything.

ALICIA
Everything?

OZ
Everything there is to know about everyone, that is why I will never be the pack leader.

ALICIA
It sounds as though you would be the best to be pack leader.

OZ
As it is I can make every human into werewolf.

MYRA
Oz do tell me what is it that you know about Gavin and I, what can you tell us about us?

OZ
You and Gavin were once gymnasts, you excelled at the floor exercises and all was well with your routine, then you began to alter bit by bit and the whole routine needed to change.

MYRA
So what was it that brought us here?

OZ
Your figure had always been so slim, until a couple of months ago before a competition when you had a sudden growth spurt and your weight increased.

MYRA
That was right, my size became too much problem to my routines.

OZ
Not that Gavin thought so, he always supported you, he liked you, he still does like your figure.

MYRA
True, he was always so good to me, even when I had to stop being a gymnast. There aren’t many blokes who would not like a girl with extra bits like these.

OZ
Some do some don’t, when your mammary glands were much smaller did he make jokes of them being small, no, he loved you just the way you were.

MYRA
That is true.

OZ
And even though gymnastics is now out of the question he still loves you.

MYRA
But what can I do now?

OZ
That depends on you, you could be a dancer in a nightclub.

MYRA
Are there any around here?

OZ
There is one, we are going to visit it tonight, although some vampires have taken to it as their own, for now.

MYRA
And it will not be?

OZ
No it won’t, it has long been our nightclub and tonight it will be again.

IN THE NIGHTCLUB

They sit in a corner of the club looking at everyone else.
Bethany goes to the bar to get each of them a drink.

OZ
Look at that group of people dancing near the middle of the dance floor, they are vampires

The human form of the werewolves watched the dance floor become packed as those on the dance floor started to dance.

The Body Rockers That's The Way

IN THE MALL

The werewolves open the emergency doors at the back of the nightclub and chase the vampires into the mall, they trap them in a shop doorway.
They hunted the vampires and killed them just to watch their dust get blow away with the wind.

ALICIA
What should we do now?

OZ
Make our way back to our bit of the forest.

WALKING TO BEYOND THE FOREST

They gather on the lawn.
Alicia looks to OZ.

ALICIA
What else are we going to do tonight?

OZ
We need to get a few more for the pack.

ALICIA
Who will decide who the pack gets?

OZ touches Alice’s head.

OZ
It is you who will know who to choose to be a werewolf.

ALICIA
How?

OZ
Now that you have become my mate, you have become a Succubus, you know who will be right to be one of us.

ALICIA
What is your role in this?

OZ
As leader of all werewolf packs I am the Incubus, I make the humans you choose to be a demon; a werewolf.

ALICIA
So you are the pack leader.

OZ
No, I am the Incubus for all, I’ll never be a pack leader just like you for being the Succubus.

Going to the Tavern.

IN THE TAVERN

Oz and Alicia wander the length of the room

ALICIA
Where should we sit.

Oz goes to the bar and gets a drink for both of them.

ALICIA
Did we need a drink?

OZ
We might need to be here a while, so with a drink we can blend in.

They take their drinks to an available table, after sitting down they casually look about. Alice points to two couples at the bar.
Oz looks at them.

ALICIA
You were right Oz both of the couples feel right.

OZ
And they do seem attractive enough, I need to convince them to dress a bit more provocatively.

ALICIA
Is that possible, do we need to?

OZ
Definitely when Velvet first saw you all you had on was a colourful dress and a button up blouse. Now look at you.

Alicia looks at her clothes.

ALICIA
So you imagined me in a tight pair of jeans and a top that made the size and shape of me look interesting?

OZ
No, Velvet did, I thought of you in that nice skirt with a button up blouse, you did look good.

ALICIA
I see what you mean.

OZ
What Velvet did not know was I wanted you to replace her.

ALICIA
Hence the dress, I know what to wear tomorrow, however why is it so important to have a partner who will dress sexy.

OZ
Being dressed to be attractive helps if one of us is injured Attracting a human to be food will keep us fit and healthy.

ALICIA
I hadn’t thought of that but it does make sense.

LEAVING THE TAVERN

Oz and Alicia drive the hot rod up the hill. As they drive up over the top, he points Oz points to the sky above them.

SONG: BLACK BETTY by SPIDERBAIT

OZ
Alicia keep an eye on the sky.

The two couples from the tavern slow down as they near the crown of the hill. Beams of coloured light bursts forth in all directions over the apex of the hill.
Oz stops his hot rod.

Oz and Alicia look at the top of the hill.

SONG: HAWKWIND - MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE

Oz and Alicia get off their motorbikes and spread their wings, they force the other two couples to stop then carry them towards the special cave.

INTO THE CAVE

Alicia looks at the countryside around the cave.

ALICIA
Where are we, I do not recognize this area.

OZ
The cave is the important cave, it is where the humans are made demon.

SONG: STONEFIELD - PUT YOUR CURSE ON ME

The humans are carried into the cave.

ALICIA
Now what do we do?

OZ
It is up to me to make them demons.

ALICIA
How do you do that?

OZ
By putting myself in them.

ALICIA
Oh, you do?

OZ
Yes, just an inch or so as that is all that is needed to impart the demon seed.

ALICIA
What will happen to the demon seed after that?

OZ
Then it spreads through their body until they are able to morph. Once that has happened and they revert back to being as we are then we take them back to the pack.

ALICIA
But the humans do that to each other.

OZ
True but like typical humans they are not capable of doing it right.

ALICIA
What do you mean by that?

OZ
Only I can do that and create a demon.

ALICIA
And now do we get to go back to the house?

OZ
Yes.
