Can you name each of the most lasting romantic relationships in the Jossverse which is a rarity in a sea of unfortunate quick ends and unresolved outcomes?

I'm pretty sure the OP means "longest."

ANd hmm, if that is the case...Let's see...

Willow/Oz - Two years
Xander/Anya - Three years
Willow/Tara - Two years
Buffy/Angel - Two and a half years

I think that is it...Ats didn't really have any long lasting relationships.
 
How long were Gunn and Fred together? A year and a half?

I always think of them when I think of long term relationships.

Oh, and, if it counts....Darla/Angelus and Spike/Dru 😛
 
I think Xander and Anya had the longest relationship.

They started dating (well, just one date lol) at the end of S3, then they started their actual relationship in S4. They broke up at the middle of S6, but towards the end of S7, they started sleeping together again; and, I honestly believe they were heading towards getting back together.
 
Yeah but I still think there was a spark and that they were still very much in love with each other. Just because they said it was over, doesn't mean it wasn't. Just my opinion though, nothing concrete.

I agree, the spark was still there and I think they were just starting to acknowledge that going into the fight. I really think they would have given it another shot if Anya had made it out alive.

The OP says Jossverse, not Buffyverse, so with that in mind, what about Zoe and Wash? How long were they together? They were married, and had been for a while by the time Firefly started.

Tillow lasted 2 1/2 years not 2 years. Unless we're not counting season 4.... which seems a tad stupid to me.

But yeah, if it's the whole Jossverse... I'm pretty sure Zoe and Wash
 
just did the math:
the longest of all is angel and darla with 145 years together. he died in 1753 and she left him in 1898 when he got his soul back.
then spike and dru with 118 years. she killed him in 1880 and left him at the end of season 2.
then it's zoe and wash, although we don't know when they got married.

It could be Willow and Kennedy.

They hooked up midway through season 7... were together during the hiatus between seasons 7 and 8, which was somewhere vaguely between one and two years... and are still together at the end of season 8, which is about another year.
 
Longest relationship would probably go to the vamps, for obvious reasons lol. But other than that, probably Zoe and Wash. Firefly OTP forever, personally. :3 Let's just pretend that one scene in Serenity never happened...

Yeah, I suppose you could count Killow but that really makes me sad. Tillow had a reasonably long relationship and I believe they were the one true love of the series. Angel and Buffy I suppose I must say and naturally Spike/Drusilla and Darla/Angel. But they are vampires, you know.

i like tara but i dont think she and willow would get the #1 spot there 😀

Yes, Tillow are the one true love of the series.
Tillow and Bangel. Maybe they won't end up together, but they'll never get a closure. Their love will never end.

And by the years, probably Dangel and Sprusilla 😉
