The Most Successful Buffyverse Actors

Get it right, none of them are A-Listers.

As much as I love me some Sarah, shes no A-List Celeb. And if Sarah isn't an A-Lister, then definately none of the other cast members are.

You've got B-List celebs, duh, like Sarah, Seth, Eliza, Alyson and potentially Emma. And the rest are C and most likely D Celebs.

I think Sarah is the only one who could ever make it to that level. Maybe Eliza.

Because the A-List is a respected and talented group of actors like Nicole and Brad and etc.

But right now, SMG isn't one of them. Maybe in the future.

Ask anyone in the streets if they know who Emma is.They probably won't.Emma isn't a celeb. She is mostly known for Buffy. In my school, nobody knows who Emma, Charisma, David or them are.I think I'm the only Buffy fan at school. In my school, everyone knows Sarah and Seth, because they are famous for other roles, to non-buffy fans.Sarah and Seth are A-List celebs.Do you see Emma or Alyson on Extra, Teen Magazine, or ET?Not Ounce.Did they appear on a mag, but buffy ones.Sarah and Seth are the only A-List celebs.David, Charisma, Emma, Nicholas, Anthony, etc, are not A-List celebs.Michelle & Eliza are the only uprising stars, aka 'not a-list, yet'.No matter how many unpopular movies David does, he will never make it to the A-List.No matter how many guest roles Emma does, or tv movies (which will never get a potential star anywhere), Emma will always stay a celeb to buffy fans, only.

Actually Emma, I imagine, was probably on quite a few magazine covers. Since ya know she made a little movie called "Darkness Falls", which I believe was a box-office hit. And that was a bigger role than anything the rest of the cast (with the exclusion of SMG) has done.

And you have to realize that Seth and SMG are not A-List.

To be an A-Lister you have STARRED on your own in a huge box office hit and done a film that garnered critical accolade.

And SMG may be well known, but Seth is really not known by name. Sure he may be Dr. Evil's son and found funny, but he's not that famous.

You can't tell me there's an undeniable difference between Sarah and actresses like Nicole and Halle and Charlize and et cetera. Then you can same about Seth and the actors like Leo, Tom Hanks, et cetera.

I don't think any of them are A-list actors. But I agree that Sarah is the only one, right now, who could maybe be considered as one.. If I would ask people I know, the only names they would recognise would be Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seth Green

I totally agree.Out of all the buffyverse stars, SMG and SG, are the most recognizable and famous. To non-Buffy fans, SMG and SG are the most recognizable and famous.MT is also has the potential to be at the same level as SMG & SG.AH is only famous for her role in American Pie trilogy, to non-buffy fans.

Darkness Falls was a box office hit?

I'm trying to find the box office success of this movie, but no luck.

But it was a bigger hit than anything the rest of the cast had done, since she starred in it. And I think only SMG has had a successful starring role, as Seth really has never truly starred in a movie.

Darkness Falls doesn't qualify as a hit, and plenty of actors from Buffy/Angel have had bigger roles than that. Eliza in Bring It On and Tru Calling, Michelle in Eurotrip and Harriet the Spy, Seth Green in a bunch of stuff, same with Hannigan. Emma is a nobody, sorry

Darkness Falls got #1 in it's week and probably got the required $70 million that's required for studios to claim a victory.

Seth has done plenty of movies where he was in the main cast, and most of them were pretty good hits at the box office.

He and Sarah ofcourse are the top rankers in movies when it comes to how well one of their movie does.

With Eliza-Michelle-Alsyon coming in second behind them, all have starred in box office hits and each well-known for their role.

Marc comes in just below them, he has starred in 2-3 pretty good movies that did well at boxoffice(one with Freddie Prinze Jr. the other with Katie Holmes)

and right down the line from him are Nick(the pshyco beach party movie did pretty well and is a well known movie), David(so far only 1 movie out that tanked at box office) and Emma(same situation with David)

Even when it comes to tv success, I think we will be seeing SMG,Seth,Eliza,Michelle and Alyson around for awhile. But I think in the end everyone else will probably just start fading into the background, probably doing a lot of independt films and theatre, and I think if the new Crow movie doesnt do well at the box office we probably wont see David around in action that much anymore.

David also has two other projects coming up...Mr. Fixit and um...Lol..I forgot the other one...

I think James is one of the least successful celebrities of the Buffyverse in terms of movies...right there with Nick...

The thing with Alyson is 20 years from now, our kids/grandkids will be watching American Pie...it's going down as a classic Teen movie...right up there with Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, etc.

I agree but James doesnt really go for other projects, I think he will end up just doing his band gig full time with doing minor acting appearnces here and there.

Actually James left the band.

He does claim to have financing for, and to be working on a screen version of Macbeth. Personally I think it's more a case of wishful thinking, but that is his claim.

The other day, I was watching reruns of Andromeda, and I saw James doing a guest appearance. He was pretty good, although for the first five minutes you can't help seeing Spike.
