I am currently working my way through my purtyful season 2 DVD set and I just love the season.

A couple of things though that I would like to comment on that have no significance really.

I watched Blood Money and there is a throw away line at the 'Hold-up' that I wonder if was something someone said to Joss because of its timing.
The line is something like - 'I love your show but turning your character lesbian, was that a ratings thing because I don't get it'.

I watched The Trial too - probably by all time favourite episode actually.
The English guy that is in it, I forgot its Jim Piddock!
He does Christopher Guest movies and is hilarious.
I also think he would have been a better character to have been in league with Jasmine than Skip.

I also wish they had kept Virginia Bryce around because I love her.

Also, more Lorne time!

Just noticed that Jim Piddock is in an episode of Dollhouse too - just an FYI!

Just watching "Dead End' and I wonder why Wesley tells Gunn about Cordy's 'slew of visions' that ended her up in hospital, when Angel had him watching over them.

Its one thing that Wesley may not have realised (though Gunn tells them at the beginning of the season that he watched over them) Gunn was there, but why didn't Gunn say 'ohh, yeah I remember'?

With you on liking Virginia Bryce and wishing she had stuck around longer. But fuzzy on Musical season referring to Angel s2 - what does that mean?

The season is set out like an extra-long musical.

You have the overall arc of Angel, you have the musical interludes (thanks Caritas) and you even end it with a trip to Oz!

In the same way that season 1 is a Film Noiresque season.

I like the idea of season one being 'film noiresque' and season 2 being like a musical. I can see what you mean.
I also think it was a bit of a shame Virginia Bryce got completely forgotten about. It would have been nice to see Wesley have a happy love life for a little longer for once.
