Isnt it already out on DVD? :S Whats the difference between the normal DVD and the director's cut? Doesnt a regular DVD have deleted scenes too? Im confused....

To tell the truth, the movie isn't all the great...actually i thought it has bad as, the only high point (the bikini scene) and reason i saw it was because of Miss Dushku...
That movie was wickedly funny! I did my little bit of research and this is what will be on the Director's Cut of The New Guy DVD:

New Guy on WAM!
Just wanted to let everybody know that The New Guy has been showing on WAM! on a nearly every day basis for the last week or two. WAM! is a semi-premium movie channel (as in not in the HBO/Cinemax/Showtime/Starz tier but still a non-censoring, pay-package movie channel) and I have it as part of a middle of the road Comcast Digital Cable package. If anybody here has this channel and wants to see The New Guy (or see it again), just a heads up that it's been on quite frequently.
I thought it was pretty good for a "teen" movie. Nothing groundbreaking and a little dumb, but it's funny and stars Eliza as yet another cheerleader (also has DJ Qualls aka the skinny dude from Road Trip and many celeb cameos). The Eliza-models-bikinis scene is undoubtedly the best part of the movie (IMHO), but the rest is worth sticking around for too. 🙂
