Not to be rude, but big fat DUH. That's why we're calling her "a" new Slayer, not "the" new Slayer. There wouldn't be one new Slayer anyways. Faith didn't die.
 
Sorry about that, but it just seemed like jeff hadn't read the whole thread through yet. I tend to be a little bit harsher than I intend sometimes. I didn't mean for it to come out like that.
 
Moving on, wasn't Buffy supposed to be the longest living Slayer? I remember it being mentioned that no Slayer had ever lived to be in their 20s. So Nikki Wood was probably younger, just the actress was a little too old.
 
not to start anything, but the headin of the post says "the new slayer" not "a new slayer" sorry, just it ticks me off when people tell me to read things when they don't them selves 🙂

I know that was the title. But the way you phrased your question made it seem like you had only read the title, and none of the rest of the thread. I already apologized, can we move on?

A Slayer named Thessily was actually the longest living Slayer. She was a Slayer for 19 years. I'm reading tales of the Slayers and they say that like a million times. Just wanted to say that lol.
 
Okay, I'm not a newbie person that didn't read the thread. I'm just summing this all up. The reason why Buffy and the gang didn't get to Dana was because she's in a mental hospital. And she's not after Angel, she's out for revenge. She was only five when she was her parents get murdered, brutally murdered. Then the murderer abused her, but did not kill her.

The girl's mind was messed with. She drew pictures of the horried sites she saw. Pictures of demons and vampires. Blood and gore. When Dana was activated she took no notice of it. When most Slayers are activated they have sickly feelings or strange emotions. Dana's brain was too scrambeled to notice anything. But finally she did notice something... and she broke out. Well I'm not going to ruin any more of the episode for people.

And about potenials... they're born potenials. It's just that most are found to be potenials in their early teens. Like Buffy, though she was the Slayer by then. And by my guess when a girl in still in her mother's womb and was supposed to be a potenial and the spell was cast, she turned into a Slayer in the womb. The spell was said to turn every potenial into a Slayer, all powers included. Meaning that even babies have that power. ^_^ That's just my three... or two cents.

I also don't think that Buffy and Giles and everyone else can track them down that easily. I mean, there are thousands out there, it's going to take a while to find them all, right?

I thought the reason her brain was screwed up was because she was having visions of the past slayers and that was why she beat up spike beceuase she saw him in the visions? i read that somewhere. i think at mystical boards

Well, when she did see Spike she thought he looked like the killer. And... she beat the crap out of him.
 
I saw the previews for the episode last night and she looks nothing like she did on the picture on the first post.
 
Well, Buffy looks like herself in every picture (except for this one ford/breast cancer picture i didnt know it was her until i looked at it for like 2 minutes) She looks a lot different. She looks hispanic or something in that picture, but on the previews she looked cacasion(?). Not putting racial profiles on anyone! lol
