The next BtVS Spin-off ....

I would like to read what other board members think about the Buffy season finale and the way it apparently opened the "dialogue" for the next spin-off.

Hundreds of slayers of all ages are now activated. Only one or two watchers left in the world. Who is going to teach them about their powers and their destiny?

Will this be the new one: Slayer Central
 
So much depends on which of the old actors are available; but I would guess someone will be traveling around helping different Slayers-Who-Should-Be-In-Training as they learn about their powers.

Willow & Kennedy might be a good choice, or Faith if Tru Calling bombs.
 
Maybe Willow could do a "locate the slayers" spell. This means they can find all the slayers and then at least tell them why they got all new powers and stuff.
 
Some of the most popular scenario's

I think your idea qualifies as a "the Watcher's" spin-off. Everyone already thought of that, one reason for Joss not to do it. If you're talking cast-wise, Alison might be available (althought there have been some indications through-out the season, that also Alison had her share), Tony wants to spend more time with his children and family in England.

Off course, there's "the Rogue Slayer", but that would IMO be a little too dark, and as proven before, the general Buffy audience doesn't like it if Buffy gets too dark. Cast-wise: Eliza has Tru Calling. So a no go here.

Then there's the inevitable "Cleveland", but also this one has been mentioned a lot by fans, so there goes originality. However you're pretty free to choose your cast, although Willow would make sense.

In general, the availability of the cast is the biggest problem.

Tony wants to go to England. Alison had her share. Michelle said her roots lay with movies. Eliza has her own series. Nick is supposed to have his own sit-com.

Though nut to crack, I'd say!
 
Things might look a little bit different in a year or 2 down the road.
Some of those careers might not have turned into what the actors were hoping and a comeback to a working recipe might actually be more appreaciated.
What they want isn't always what they get. That goes for all of us but also for them.
 
In a few years, maybe ... let's hope so.

But this year on maybe next, nope, I don't think there will be one!
