What do you think about entertainment this year?I am very dissapointed.In Ryan On Air, Nichole Richie said that she was gonna have an album coming out.She said that you can do anything now a days, since it's 2004.Paris Hilton, her buddie also has an album out.They both don't even have any musical talent.It all began with Hilary, another actress without a good voice.Then Lindsay, another actress with no musical talent.Michelle Branh, ounce said this in an interview.She said that she sees poeple like Hilary, and she wonders what kind of music people play these days.I agree with her.She has every right to diss Hilary.Now a days, every celeb can have an album, even thou they have no talent.Some people may say Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, are fake.But they aren't.Just because Jessica, and her don't have power house voices, doesn't mean thy're fake.They both write their own songs, unlike artists such as Hilary, Lindsay, & Haylie Duff.Things have changed in tv & movies, as well.Any fake, and untalented actor can star in their own show, or movie.Hilary Duff, I believe is a fake.She is not good at acting.Many people have complained about her acting skills.Rachel Mcadams, a fellow canadian celeb, says that the only actress she can't stand is, Hilary Duff.Rachel says that Hilary is a fake.If you want to see Hilary Duff acting, she sucks.For example, in the eppy of Lizzie Mcguire, where Lizzie has a boyfiriend.But then he breaks up with her, and she starts to cry.She not good at crying scenes.I was laughing, with my sister.What do you think about today's popculture?

its a load of bollocks.

i look at sketch shows from a few years back and they made jokes about TV shows which would be better then the drivel we have today.

as for music. its out of control. im hoping that a good circulating underground scene will pop up.

as for Movies? after i noticed every major studio was working on a sequal or threequal i simply started making my own.


the trick is too get into some older films and music while the current trend kills itself off. go lisen to some of ya *refrence to nonspecific familes deleted by request of Pointy*'s old Pink Floyd or Led Zep...

Reality TV really needs to be kept in check. In fact, I would say that if ever a method for population control becomes necessary. Casting for these shows would be perfect. Thousands upon thousands of ****ing talentless morons manage to drag themselves away from their service jobs to pursue their desire to be FAMOUS.

It always astounds me when many of them are asked of their lifes ambitions and they reply "to be famous". What the **** does that mean? Famous for what?

This also applies for any and all music coming from lame TV shows / TV stars.

Personally, I've created my own kind of popculture for myself, full of things I find worthwhile to pay attention to. Sure, I have a few guilty pleasures (various rap songs, Growing up Gotti, etc), but I like to stick to substance or classics. Current pop culture just does not appeal to me at all. All these female pop singers...male pop singers...reality tv...sick of it all. Talentless hacks, I say. I second Faldor's suggestion: get into the older stuff. It'll sustain you until the current trend wears off.
