the next Slayer

Who will be the next slayer, if at some point Faith will die or Buffy or in some other way a new slayer will be called, who will it be? Chloe, Kennedy, Molly, Ronna or Vi? or something else!
 
Don't have a clue, but I'm becoming a Molly fan, so I'd like to vote for her.

She's such a lovable goof-up. They could do a spinoff sitcom --Molly the Vampire Slayer. I'd watch it.
 
why just one?

Maybe the evil struggle will be so great that they all will become slayers! The rule about there only being one has already been broken! Maybe they will go even further with it...
Then the spin-off can include everybody who gathers during this season. Plus Giles stuck playing the father-figure.
 
I think either Faith will be a slayer or a male person will become a slayer, cause they havent stated a reason why a male cant be, just that there has never been one!

"Andrew: Why is the slayer always a girl?"

WOuld be quite funny if Spike became "The Slayer"
 
We're forgetting about Dawn here. She's an SIT, but of course doesn't know it yet.
Who I think will be the next slayer: Dawn or Kennedy.
Who I want to be the next slayer: Molly, Chloe, or Kennedy.

That might change as the next episodes air; when we get to know the other SITs better.

Dawn isnt a SIT, she only thinks she is for awhile

Really? I must've misread information somewhere, or didn't get the whole story. I change my mind then; I think Chloe or Kennedy will be picked to be the slayer.

Giles: Because you are the Slayer. Into each generation a Slayer is born, one girl in all the world, a Chosen One, one born with the strength and skill to hunt the vampires...

Doesn't that mean the slayer's always got to be a girl? Or maybe you're right; he just said 'girl' because there hasn't been a guy.

Ronna: one of the first things Buffy said to her was "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and that might be an indication, a hint, and she seemed to get more attention then the other SITs.
Kennedy: because she's by far the best candidate (and the cutest)
Who I want to be the next slayer:
Molly: Because she's cute and she'd probably be a terrible slayer, but funny nevertheless
Kennedy: Because she's the cutest and most lovable of them all and she has a crush on Will (like me)!

I think you are reading into the whole Rona thing too much. Just because they used the title of the first episode as a line doesn't mean she'll be the next slayer.
 
But she had the most lines, after Kennedy! ... I just have a feeling that there's something up with her, something I can't explain yet!

And no I'm not a mod, but you are always complaining about reading the spoiler, though you don't want to and now you're ruining it for others and that, no offence, is not very fair!
 
Sarcasm; I know you aren't a mod. Plus, what I just posted isn't true anyway, and I've commented once about a spoiler; don't exaggerate.

Rona had a lot of lines because she was new and didn't understand what was going on. They used her as a basis for explaining it all to us.
 
I never saw Chloe, Eve and Vi either, we weren't we introduced to them properly ??? ... I tell you, something's up with her! ... maybe she'll turn out to be an agent!
 
I like Kennedy, and if you know future Kennedy story lines and where my allegiences lie, you know that's a big thing.

Molly--everyone says she's a klutz. What am I missing? How is she a Klutz.

I was glad Eve turned out to be the First Evil, cuz she annoyed the heck out of me.

I like Rona...she's a little too whiny, but I think she can learn.

Vi is interesting. She needs more screen time, though.

Clhoe justt bugs me, i don't know why. She just kind of sits there with a sourpuss expression on her face. She seems very much a follower. And a chicken. Not Slayer material.

Well...there's the scene in Showtime when she drops the balancing sticks, but basically it's because she seems like one of the youngest, yet she's big and clunky.

It's like she's growing faster than her coordination can keep up with.
 
Look at the way she dresses, the writers didn't put her in that outfit for nothing, she was also the scared one in "Bring on the Night"!
 
Yeah she was pretty scared in showtime too, but here's another interesting thing. She's scared to death (watch the way she holds her stake in showtime) but she's still the one that says "we should help her" when she thinks Buffy is getting the worst of the fight with Ooby at the library lot.

If you watch her face in the background of the SIT scenes, you can tell she's terrified, but she's also totally involved in and in a way loving everything that's happening around her.

Also, do you get the feeling she's a little gullible. She seems to immediately accept everything she sees and hears at face value.

I think she's a fascinating character, and once she's fleshed out, there will be a lot of 14 year old girls identifying with her.

I so hope she doesn't turn out to be an FE plant.
 
Now that you mention it, it wouldn't be to bad if it would be her, she's kinda cool and suited for this job!
 
I worry, because Rebecca Ann Kirshner is slated to write the next script.

Kirshner can be a decent writer, but she has an irritating habit of concentrating on the ugliness and the dark side of the characters. She's the writer who pretty much single-handedly destroyed Riley as a sympathetic character. She's also responsible for the everything and everybody is ugly script Hell's Bell's.

She'd best be leaving my Molly alone or Mutant Enemy is going to get a nasty email.

And, perhaps the best spoiler of all, unfortunatly unconfirmed ... spoiler sources at Television Without Pity report that the character of Kennedy will survive Season 7
 
Maybe it'll be someone who hasn't even been found yet. Or what if they do a nasty twist and end up not having to pick a new Slayer by the end of the season?
