The O.C.

I'm watching it, but to be honest, nothing interesting has happened. I'm holding on cause people say it's good but *shrug*.
 
i personally dont like it i think its very unrealistic but so is buffy lol i dont like the acting or plots i think its just a 90210 wannabe lol -IMO
 
Personally, I cannot stand this show. I just don't like taking an hour out of my week to watch pretty people with problems. Plus, it comes on at the same time as Angel so ... 😉

Ugh Thank god I have someone to agree with me! Everyone I know loves the O.C. I HATE it. Too much drama and very unrealistic. I mean it's supposed to be a real life drama and it's not. Everyweek these people sit there for an hour to watch every couple on the show break up, get slapped etc. It is a soap opera in primetime! It's sooo overrated! Look at what Angel is up against this crap! And yet people watch this lame excuse for a tv show...I don't understand this??? Ok now that I've vented🙂anyone else wanna share their opinions?lol

I like this show, last week we had the episode where Luke got shot and Ryan gets adopted, the next one is where Kirsten's dad turns up. So i'll have to wait till sunday to see what happens. But i think this is a good show, and why don't you think it's realistic i mean it's mainly about teanagers and some of the stuff in the show that's happened well i bet some of the teanagers out there have gone through this. Being sent to jail isn't unrealistic, steeling people's money from them because your in debt isn't realistic. So ok not every single detail has happened to teanagers out there but i'm sure people have gone through or it's happened to them what's been in the show so far, I mean Startrek's unrealistic and that's probably never going to happen, but it's a good show. Wow ok i've finished my little rant, and by the way i'm not having a go at anyone that's just my opinion.

i dont care for the whole break up- get back together- break up -get back together thing it gets really annoying but on boy meets world with topanga and cory it was interesting cause i loved the show lol
 
I LOVED Boy Meets World! lOL. I miss it so much!

Okay, I love the OC at least I"m not alone. (Thanks to my one OC pal... oh, and The Loyal likes it). But yes it does come on at the same time as Angel so it gets hard. That's why I'm lucky to have friends that like both shows and can give me an updeat if I miss one.

As for realistic, I think it is. I mean, teenagers do that whole break up back together thing. I know tons of kids who do that. And there is a character, Seth, who is a modern day example of every nerdy kid ever! He is a total outcast, but really he's great. And Ryan is an example of tons of kids i know.

I also love this show cuz the guys are really hot. LOL. That's always a good reason. Actually, that's why I started watching Angel. It was all for Angel and Wes but then the story plots started in my head.

I think that's about all. I don't have much more to rant about for now, so maybe later. LOL
 
I love the OC so far. I have just seen an episode so I cant really tell. 🙂

I have just seen the pilot and well... it was lovely.
 
That's weired. I love this show, I have been looking for something to help fill the void of the absence of buffys drama. So ya, I like it. I even talk to it sometimes. But you know what the show is not for everyone. So to each his own. Thats what I always say. But I like it.
 
No, i don't really like the show. It's a 90210 wannabe and it seems unoriginal. plus i really do not like Mischa Barton [see April's Elle magazine in the US-not a good interview, just to name one reason]
 
I've seen one episode so far because I was hooked by the attractive girl who plays Summer.

OMG, somebody 'Buffy' watches the same show I do. This is cool. It's like my new favourite TV show in replacement for Buffy, it doesn't beat it though. It's very teen drama and a lot of the storylines are unrealistic but that doesn't stop me watching it and me wishing I was living in the set. I've been wathcing it since, like, the start of March when it started over here in the UK. No Angel, Summer (Rachel Bilson) played a potential at the end of Season 7... which is pretty cool... everyone in Hollywood has connections...
 
I watch the show as well, it's pretty ok, but doesn't keep up with the quality level of Buffy/Angel, Dawson's Creek or Nip/Tuck, the other series I watch.
 
I watch The OC, I quite enjoy it but I would definately not say it was based in reality........well not my reality!!

Sometimes its good to switch off and watch beautiful people having a bit of soap opera dramas........maybe i'm shallow but I find it entertaining!
