Which version do you like best?

I personally prefer the US version I was trying to watch the UK version on Netflix but I lost interest pretty quickly. I think it might be because of Ricky Gervase, he annoys me after a while. lol

Without a doubt the UK version, it's so much less sitcommy, and if you knew England, is actually so realistic it beggers belief- the show could easily have been put out as an actual documentary and it would probably been accepted.

I get the Ricky Gervais thing, he is annoying, but he is supposed to be and fits that role perfectly, he's way more awkward than his US counterpart.

Maybe it comes down to a UK vs US thing as supposedly we have different senses of humour? Although I have no basis for this view, it's just something I've heard said on tv numerous times?
