Valentine's Day is coming up, so here's another excuse to stuff yourself with chocolate! 😀

The one day in February that a man gets in trouble for not buying his lover a gift even though he didn't buy her one the day before or the day after. Also known as Singles Awareness Day for those who have no romance in their lives and are laughing because they don't have to buy over-priced heart themed gifts.

I'm grateful for my life and family but honestly my BF never really celebrate Valentine's day. We just buy a lot of chocolate for both of us and that's it. We just have so many celebrations in February that we just decide to skip this one and not buy a gift just because you have to.

Valentines day is overshadowed by "fettisdagen" for me, which is today... the day when you are legally obliged to eat as many as these sweet buns with whipped cream as you possibly can!



So... grateful for the stomach ache I'll have on V-day I guess, and/or the sugar hang-over from delicious treats 😛
Or grateful for the fact that because we're capitalistic heathens it is now possible to get these buns not just today, but tomorrow as well.. then with little heart-shaped tops.

I ate some sweat buns covered in whipped cream once... it was underwhelming. Of course I made the mistake of getting chocolate whipped cream. Chocolate whipped cream on buns aren't good. Not at all.

Hmmm ... I wonder if anyone would notice if I nicked one of the hearts in the biology freezer. Dissecting a heart with the kids would actually be something both my husband and I would enjoy doing.
