The tiktoks and instas aren't as conducive to providing a variety of content the way Twitter and Facebook is. The idea of a future with only Tiktok and Instagram and no Twitter or Facebook is downright scary.
 
Congrats to all those who want to give their personal info to the Chinese company Tiktok that will pass on your personal information to the Chinese Security so that details of your country can be increased.
I seem to remember that in the film Serenity Joss Whedon wrote of the American and Chinese languages being joined as they were co - world leaders.
 
I don't have enough room on my phone for tiktok, too may puppy pictures!

Someone had to say it, so it might as well be me. I didn't know tiktok had too many puppy pictures.
I just discovered that Pasta-Roni has microwave directions on the box again. Fine, I'm lazy, but I used to get these dinners because they were easy to just pop in the nuker. And then all the companies decided that we'd really rather fuss over a skillet or pot on the stove, defeating the whole purpose. So hurrah for easy meals!

Banquet makes this stuffed crust pizza that tastes like delivery. I mean, it is so good, it's crazy. Also something called a chicken fajita bowl....really, really good stuff.

I've never seen those here. I'm surprised it comes from Banquet, which make the cheapest frozen dinners. I'll look for it!
@Stake fodder Yeah, Banquet was well-known for their crappy little dinners. Like that spaghetti that had THREE meatballs at best. But they've definitely upped their game! I was totally shocked after tasting that pizza. Sooooo good. And like I said, that chicken fajita bowl was totally yummy.
 
What is it with rebranded job titles? A local store has rebranded its security guards as loss prevention officers, and a local school is advertising for an Education Centre Nourishment Production Assistant aka dinner lady !!

PS If you live in England try not to get ill for the time being. Last month the ambulance service were unable to answer 135,000 calls which was almost a quarter of all calls, with ambulance officers warning that patients were coming to harm every day because of the delays.

A fancy title is cheaper than paying a higher salary. And around here, even if you can get to the emergency room, you may be waiting 16 hours for assistance!

Wanted to laugh at this bit!! Could be a fun job to make these titles up!

But not the other bit. Tis the same in Oz. A mess we all saw coming.

Speaking of mess... I gotta clean!
 
By the way, THIS is the amazingly tasty frozen pizza. Oh my God.

The police peoples chickens got out on the highway. The harvest trucks are still running, but the police arnt working in town on Saturdays. Looks like there might be road kill chickens soon!
 
Last nite seen an old white guy with white hair & white beard wearing a santa hat.
He was driving a dark red SUV with black trim. I was like: 'Santa & his sleigh, perhaps?' 😉
Bit later... GF was talking bout my neighborhood since I don't live in the best part of town.
I was like: 'are you saying I live in the hood?' She replied: no' you live near the hood'.
I was like: 'so yer saying I'm like hood-adjacent'. Everyone (us & friends) started laughing cuz I'm a dork 😳
