I miss the old days of season 1-3. specifically season 2 and 3. i so miss the whole atmosphere of the show. I hated 4, 5 was ok and I loved 6, but I still miss the good old days. :-(
 
I don't 😛 ... it was nice, but the new set's, the new story-arc, I swear, if they would have sticked to the old idea, and never let it change, we would al be bored to tears.

Past times may be Good Times, but you can never bring 'em back!
 
That's true, it's interesting to see the characters develop especially Willow and Spike but I look back fondly on the 'quippy' Buffy days when everything seemed brighter and less complex.
 
Well life just isn't ... bright and easy. It's always dark and complex, if you reason that way, the show has become very realistic!
 
I've liked some seasons better than others, some episodes better than others, but the character development and quality of writing have been good throughout.
 
I completely agree with stormwolfe. Seasons 2 & 3 were my favorite seasons. And, no it isn't all about Oz being there, although that's nearly half the reason😉. I disliked most of Season 4 and 5. The endings were good (and also when Faith came back), but that's about it. I still loved them, but definitely not as much as I had loved seasons before. Season 6, for the most part, was good. Season 7 seems promising... But, really, I miss the quirkiness of the show. And I guess the quirky-climax ended near the beginning of Season 4. Maybe it has to do with them leaving high school...or that growing up changes you a little. It's my belief that you can't get better than those two. But, whatever, I still love the show, change doesn't hurt (except when it comes to Oz & Willow😛), and there have been tons of great episodes since S2 & S3.:: tu ::
 
I'm not saying it shouldn't have moved on, it definatly should have and has done it relativly well, however I just miss those days sometimes. i actually really really dislike the Spike Buffy thing so I guess that doesn't help. I loved the Buffy Angel thing and I guess seasons 2 and 3 were the seasons for that. I loved the Willow oz thing, but the Willow Tara thing was just as good if not better. And i liked xander being with Anya but ther quirkiness of the show, i miss it.
