The Oracles and the end of days?

When the moira demon attacked Angel and buffy and said the end of days had begun was he talking about the end of days in buffy series 7. We know he was talking about an actual apocalypse because the oracle confirmed that the end of days where coming and there where also soldiers of darkness involved. at first i thought it was a reference to the scourge but now I dont because they didnt really plan anything apocalyptic.

Could have also been that the first in fact sent the demon after angel because he knew he would play a part in the apocalypse?

Or it could have even be referring to series 5 of angel and the circle of the black thorn, afterall they are soldiers of darkness and were bringing about the end of days however i personally think it was referring to buffy because there is an episode towards the end of series 7 called the end of days.

Was his ever verified or dismissed by Joss or anyone?

I think it was in reference to Angel S5 as that apocalypse had gotten underway long before the events in Season 5 started to unfold. I think was a more carefully planned event than the "apocalypses" we've seen prior.

But that's just my thoughts 🙂

I agree with Cordelia. Skip showed them all how the apocalypse had been planned for a long time. way before Angel even started. And how everything they did was part of the apocalypse.
