Are you happy with the new Season 8 as opposed to what we thought it would be? (Specifically, I'm talking about the fact that Buffy's in Scotland and still very much in the center of the action and "missing the sex" as opposed to living a life of well earned semi retirement in Rome, enjoying shopping and being romanced by an internationally famous world class lover)

You mean Queen of Slayers book? I didn't like that story AT ALL. So I much prefer the official Season Eight

Not necessarily that (I hated that book) I was referring to the general premise that we were led to believe, that Angel believed in Season 5, that Buffy was in Rome enjoying a well deserved rest and letting the other Slayers handle the world's problems for awhile. I mean, come on! Seven years in the hellmouth, saving the world at least half a dozen times, dying twice, losing everything she's ever loved...I think the girl needs to take some time to herself. Lie on the beach, drink fancy drinks with those little umbrellas in them, (when does it rain just in mixed drinks?) play frisbee with a Labrador Retriever, in short, get back in practice being human again. I was really hoping that she could have that for at least a while.

I didn't think that story from angel season 5 would have worked at all. Thats just not Buffy, She's tried to go away from Slaying but it never works. It is a part of her, some part of her actually needs to kill demons, thin back to her hunting in season 5.

She's not the type to take a break!

I am not so sure I would have liked that. I need to see my slaying Buffy. And I thought she needed some single time, lol. No immortal for her. Unless the non single time of hers is spent with me. That's ok then.

Yes I'm happy with it the way it is. No, a Girl in Question Buffy wouldn't interest me. Girl in Question is my least favorite Angel episode ever, and tied for my least favorite Buffy or Angel episode ever. So in conclusion, no thanks. No Buffy in Rome with the Immortal for me, thank you very much.
