The Others

I rented this film last week and I thought it was excellent. Didn't see the twist coming at all. I think Nicole Kidman is an amazing actress, and plays the part very well. What does anyone else think who has seen it?

I've seen it twice. I thought it was OK the first time but was bored the second time. I wasn't too shocked by it all because there had to be a twist or else the film would have been a major bore.

Fantastic movie..... loved every second... Nicole Kidman obviously had been practising that accent for some time before she took up the role... I got this on R1 on release and it's a great addition to my DVD collection, despite the ugly amaray case...

Although I'm bias when it comes to this film since I was born and bred in Jersey 😀 and Irish house keepers in 1945? Wouldn't happen... not at all....

This was amazing and the twists I never saw coming at all! Nicole did a brilliant job, a very talented actress 🙂 this is be a definite addition to my DVD collection 😀

yeah i really liked it i guessed the twist quite early on (but unlike the rather dull sixth sense) the film still managed to keep the tension - maybe its just cos i live in a big old house lol 😀
i agree nicole was very good in it

i so knew the housekeepers were ghost from the beginning but i did in no way expect nicole and the kids to be well i was guessing the kids were but not her movie very freaky till i found out what was going on

The Others is released on DVD in the UK on 30th September 2002.
Also dizzygirl way to spoil it for people who aint seen it.

I thought it was great. Its one of those not so much scary but interesting movies that make you jump. at occasional times. Like the haunting.
