I know I might be in the small minority here but I'm currently watching the newer seasons of the Outer Limits,

I've seen a few here and there, over the past whatever years, but now I'm watching them all 🙂

So far I'm on season 3. They're great episodes, just as good or better than the twilight zone.

Anyone else love the craziness and intelligence that was the Outer Limits?

: popcorn:

You have the tenacity to compare the unabashed genius of Ronald Serling with the crass commercialism of Roahl Dahl?! Bite yo' tongue child!!! Seriously, are you talking about the original (black and white) "Outer Limits.?"I never saw the newer ones (correct me if I'm crazy, but there WAS a later, color version of "Outer Limits," right?) When you finish going through those two, you might try "Night Gallery." Serling did it several years after "Twilight Zone" went off. Then there was "Twilight Zone, the Movie," that was remakes and expansions of some of the classic tv episodes. There was a big controversy concerning the movie when they had a helicopter crash, killing several actors and the 'copter pilot...I'm talking too much, right? Sorry, I tend to do that. It's just that I envy you so much the thrill of seeing those old classics for the first time. It might be fun to keep a note pad handy when you're watching and try to spot all of the "unknowns" who later became famous.

I've seen most of the older Outer Limits and Twilight Zones, I love em but I tend to like the newer ones, IDK why. Everyone says they suck. But I like em. I'm trying to find the newer version of the Twilight Zone, but can never seem to find it in stores. I've managed to see 3 eps of the new Twilight Zone, one which I will never stop loving 'Sunrise' and the others were great too, so I have to Find them!! On the Outer Limits, the newer version, I just found somewhere to get them and am watching them all for the first time. Some of them are .. laughable. But alot of them are very deep and make you think. Which is why I like them. Spock had an appearance as a lawyer on one of them. He is an amazing actor! The newer Outer Limits looks to be a great series of stories. I wish more t.v. shows were done like the Twilight Zone and the Outer Limits. Both are amazing shows. Yes, both the new and the old versions! 😀

I just watched a very cool episode. Season 3 of The Outer Limits, episode 14. Almost all of the episodes I've watched have been great but this one I knew I saw before yet remembered nothing about it so it was fun watching again. It stared Pacey from Dawson's Creek.

Yea I'm thinking about trying that 🙂

white avenger, why the heck are you mentioning Roald Dahl? (And by the way he's a freaking genius.)

Anyhoo, I've seen a few episodes of The Outer Limits, of both the original and the newer, and The Twilight Zone is definitely superior. This is OK but nothing special.

Edit:

I own the newer version of The Twilight Zone. It's not bad but it's just not as good as the original. It's flashier, yes, it's more visually appealing, yes, and I enjoy it, but the original was just very well written and most of those episodes stayed with you.

The newer Twilight Zone has one of my favorite episodes Sunrise!!

And The Outer Limits does have it's retarded boring episodes, but more than half are great episodes with some well thought out twists.

Amanda Tapping just stared on an episode of The Outer Limits. I love how they vary each episode. Some they set in the future, others the present, even others the past, sometimes completely different places all together. I'm loving everything so far a few throw away garbage eps every season but overall they're very interesting. A great actor is starring in the episode I'm currently watching Alan Scarfe.
