"The Playboy Club" Cancelled

I never watched it, because this is exactly what I expected to happen. Why anyone thought bringing a Playboy series to network television was a good idea, I'll never understand.

This kind of show belonged on cable.

It's a HBO show. Everything about it was HBO.
I enjoyed it to.

Network TV needs to stuff it, they can't want a Mad Men and not let it be a Man Med, this shouldn't have been on NBC.

That sucks, I liked that show. It was silly but the eye candy factor was off the charts. Are they going to show the rest of the already filmed episodes?
 
I never even got to watch it! My dVR box broke but I expected this much once I heard something on Access Hollywood. I do not understand why this and Pan Am don't go to cable? Mad Men works and people want to do the same era but with ratings these days cable would be a better bet.

If Pan Am gets axed too I'll throw a tantrum. They are my two favourite new shows this season.
 
Pan Am is doing pretty well, ratings wise, so I wouldn't worry about it. But I'm sad for Sean and the other actors.
 
Meh, I have no interest in any of these shows (Mad Men, Pan Am, Playboy Club), so I'm kind of glad so that Sean can go do something else- maybe something genre! He needs to join the cast of Fringe!! 🙂
 
I'm loving Pan Am, that was surprisingly awesome, if you'd told me it would be a touch of a spy drama i'd have laughed at you a month ago.

I still have to watch it but Christina being in it made me really excited.

I thought so as well but they were on the same list as The Playboy Club. It was on Access Hollywood talking about what works and doesn't this season and apparently the ratings dropped I was upset because it seems like after two episodes even air shows are at risk. That is not enough time to find an audience so they don't stand a chance. That is why at times I am glad I wait because it is getting pretty bad these days.
 
I liked it. I like the last episode they aired the best. I thought it was starting to get interesting. It could have worked fin on network tv they just didnt want to give it a chance. It would have been more accepeted on HBO or something though 🙁 its too bad I really wanted to see more of Cassidy Freeman lmao oh and Sean 😉
