Fancy getting dressed up? Got a Tuxedo sitting gathering dust? Want to enjoy what them there US'ers have been having for ages? Why not come to England's new Hellmouth, and enjoy the Prom.

This is a cross board party, for all Bronzers, ex-Yukkers, BuffyBoarders, T21ers, TANUKBC'ers, newsgroupers etc. No cliques, no "our posting board is better than yours", no "your moderator is a facist dictator and is fat and ugly". Nope, this is for ALL UK buffy fans, so get your high heels out, strap on your bow tie, and come promming.

Oh I wish I could! But being all the way down south, and at that point 4 days underage I doubt I can. Thanks for the info though Lio. And I expect to see many pictures, you hear me Faith?
 
Willow, If you're only four days under age and are mature for your age then I can maybe arrange something. There's a message baord where people can get to know eahc other before hand and I'm sure there will be people driving up from down south. Maybe you can do a car share up?
 
Prom Hotel Details

Thought you might like to know the hotel details!

The Holiday Inn Castle Bromwich has given me some discounted rates. Price details are as follows:

£45 double/twin = £22.50 each person per night
£55 family room (3 adults) = £18.33 each person per night
£65 family room (4 adults) = £16.25 each person per night

You can book your hotels through me and pay when you arrive at the hotel.

Also there are only 100 tickets and over a quarter of them have sold already!

Lol it's going ot have to be some other time hon 😉 I asked Mum...I got a firm headshake and no.....I don't know why I'm nto allowed to go...wait after what I've told her about osme people on here *coughLindseyMcDonaldcough* it's no wonder she's keeping me away 😀

I wont be able to make it 🙁 Its too close to my mates 21st Birthday party and i have to go to that and cant afford both. Plus i have two conventions next year (that i know of) so need to save my pennys.
 
i would sooo love to go to that but i would never gen in or my parents wouldnt let me or something. wouldnt it be cool though

If you think you live down south... I live in Georgia! Think I could book a plane, fly to England for couple nights, fly back to Atlanta, and have lots of fun without my parents noticing? 😀

Lol you could try, you never know you might get lucky. You could always say you were staying at a friends place for a week :S I'm joking, don't do it; I don't want irate parents threatening me 😀
 
Aww i'd love to go, there is only one problem though... I'm only 15 and my mum would never let me go up there on my own... 🙁

If you have parents that are worried about you attending, I can vouch for the fact we'll be travelling together from the hotel to the venue and back again in groups or taxis.

I have no way of proving we aren't axe murderers but if any of your parents need mine or Lioness's telephone number to check us out that I would be willing to be emailed or contacted beforehand.

There is a girl coming from Germany who's 17/18 who has been coming to meets with us for nearly 18months now. So we are very good at keeping an eye out for people. There should be peeps arriving at the train station and travelling together.

I'm not sure what else I can say.
 
The Prom does have an lower age limit of 16 and over, although we may accept ticket applications from slightly younger people. As posted by Pegasus, I am also available to be contacted by parents who are worried about their sons and daughters who wish to attend the event.

I've held a number of parties as well as three annual events and everyone has had a good *and* safe time.

I've finally bought my dress 😀
