I just watched The Prom on Sky One for the first time and it was sooo sad!

I actually nearly cried through the whole of that it was soo sad. ::crying::

When he broke up with her I was in floods of tears and when she said she couldnt breath when she was talking to Willow 🙁

I think it was really sweet how Buffy got that Class Protector..she was so happy then Angel came and danced with her that was sooooo sweet and he knew it was a big thing to her and when Giles said 'people surprise you now agen'(I dont know if thats rite) and I knew straight away Angel was there and yes again I started crying.

I thought It was a very good eposide..defiently one that makes you cry alot...lol 🙁 ::crying2:
 
Caught it this afternoon, too. Damn good ep. Actually made me register at the board! 😉

The look on Buffy's face when she was presented with the Protector award was brilliant.
 
yeah I love this episode, it was sooo good and sad that B/A broke up just when their relation ship started to mature more 🙁
 
I was pleased that this ep actually acknowledged that the general public of Sunnydale had at least some idea of what was going on, in regards evil, and that Buffy was around to stop it. Let's face it, they would've been pretty dumb to have not picked up on it.
 
I agree 40 kittens, and welcome to the board. I loved this episode. It made me happy that people recognized her. 🙂
 
Yeah I saw it for the first time yesterday.

Almost reduced to tears during the class protector speech (which is rare for me). I knew Angel would come along and dance with her but hey, its for the shippers.
 
The Class Protector part is my fave part of the episode! A cracky episode!
 
Oh my lordie!!! this ep is one of me favs!!! i only saw it for the first time last month when i bought season 3 on dvd and i admit...i cried like a baby ::crying::

i cried when they were dancing at the end and they almost kissed but they didn't...such a beautiful moment yet so so sad!!!
 
The Prom was a great episode!!!!!! My fave was the class protector part..it was so inspiring and it said everything that Buffy is! Well almost everything! That part makes me flinch!! Like almost cry full of pride!🙂

Hey I totally agree me 2! I saw it again the other day and as many times I do it always brings ma to tears!!
 
I own the DVD's so can watch it over and over and it still
has the same effect on me! I get all teary eyed when
Johnathan says his little speech and hands her the
umbrella. It's in my top 10 favorite Buffy episodes!
 
Oh I loved that episode! It was really sad indeed. I was happy he showed up for the Prom after all..
 
yeah, i know, this was a really good episode, i cried, but it was sweet when angel came to dance w/ buffy even after he broke up w/ her.
 
That is probably one of my favorite episodes. It was so good at the end that I started crying. I was crying really hard, when they were dancing. I have a quick question, does anyone know the name of the song they danced to?
