The Pylea arc

What did you guys think? And what about your thoughts also on the WB pulling the reruns of the arc, midway through it a few weeks ago?

I simply loved the arc, because it was extremely well done by everyone (Numfar was definitely one of the highlights! 😀) and of course, it's where we were introduced to Fred so, yay! 🙂

I'm just really pissed off that they didn't finish replaying them, because my tape of those eps (as well as the last four of Buffy season five) screwed up and to this day I still haven't seen about half of the season two Angel finale... including the whole 'It's Buffy' deal... *sigh*
 
It was the last four eps of the season... It was then that we were first introduced to Fred (through Cordy's vision...) and the events that led to Cordy's arrival in Pylea, the host's homeworld where Fred had been stuck for five years...

The eps were:
*Belonging
*Over the rainbow
*Through the looking glass
*There's no place like Plrtz Glrb (possible typos will hopefully be forgiven in this one 😀)
 
I loved those three eps!! Esp the last one!! Great Cordy ep as well! I don't know why some people don't like them!
 
I don't know about the Pylea Arc. It was pretty good I mean it had it's good parts and well Angel is always good but it wasn't my favorite storyline or anything. I thought it was good but I don't know there's just something about it that was weird.

It was pretty good though I can't fight that. Too bad about your tape. I hate when my tapes don't work. Let's hope they re run them for you 😉
 
It was a little weird, and I'm kinda in the middle of an opinion for it. I thought it was a little risky, and different, but they pulled it off pretty well. I'm starting to like Fred better now, but at the beginning of her character (the Pylea arc), I found her quite annoying and not a very strong character. The best part, I have to say, was of course, Numfar and the Dance of Joy! 😀
 
i loved the pylea arc! great eps 🙂 it was a really great way to arrange things and introduce a new character. im really glad they brought in fred. shes really good for the show. but, the pylea arc was definetly the best set of episodes from season 2 in my eyes

they were a risk but i think they worked.it was refreshing to see them try something completely different.had some great moments.anything folloing the previous arc would have had difficulty standing out.
 
the only thing i would have like the end of that section they came back and willow was on the chair i would have wanted to see what angels reaction would have been like well i know he was gone in the next episode but i would have like to have seen his reaction to the whole thing
 
In my opinion, the way it was done, was the best possible way. It left Angel's reaction to the imagination, so you have to figure how you would have wanted him to.

I loved the Pylea Arc. It had some brilliant moments, in fact, it was made up of brilliant moments. 🙂 And Fred is a great addition to the show, it was a good way of bringing her in. The cast has doubled since the beginning of the show, starting off with just three main characters - Angel, Cordelia & Wesley, (after Doyle's death 🙁 ) and ending up with six - Angel, Cordelia, Wesley, Gunn, Fred & Lorne. Well, Lorne's not a regular yet, just recurring, but still.... 😀 Numfar and the Dance of Joy, got to agree with you, definitely a memorable moment. 😉
