Who's been watching or celebrating?

I enjoyed the Jubilee concert last night, it was definitely a spectacle.

Been watching some of the TV coverage today and I think it's been great. I'm no Royalist but it's nice to see the country coming together like this. It's not often you see the UK being so patriotic!

60 years on the throne is pretty impressive!

I watched the concert yesterday. I thought it was really good. I didnt watch the boats on the Thames on Sunday or anything from today.

I was shocked that they had Jimmy Carr at the concert. I kept waiting for him to say something inappropriate. I loved Peter Kay at the end!

There havent been many street parties round were I live, but I havent been too bothered about that.

The Jubilee party in my local town marketplace was a washout due to the rain on Sunday- they had some bands playing and people passing through, but I don't think the local traders were prepared to open to support it.

Regardless of how you feel about the institution of monarchy (and personally I think there are some very good things about having a figure in public life who is above politics), I think there's great respect and affection for the fact that the Queen has been part of life in this country for sixty years through good times and bad, while the world has changed around her.

I didn't really watch anything to do with the jubilee. Things to do with the royal family usually bore and annoy me. 😛
