And all this started with one quote? We sure have collected alot. Another quote that I really liked was the one in 'Something Blue' I'm not sure exactly how it goes, I don't have the tape I recorded it on with me right now, but Buffy comes back from Willow's after she wished marriage upon them and she sees Spike. It goes something like this

Buffy: Wow. I thought that would take longer.
Spike: Me too. Must've got turned around.
Then He realizes where he is
Spike: Wait a minute. No. Yes. Wait. Yeah. This is the place!
Gets down on his knees and starts tearing out grass from the ground.
Spike:Open up! I'm gonna kill you! Come on, let me in! (sad, pathetic tone)Fix me.

If anyone knows exactly how it goes, Reply to it!!!

He runs off to a nearby patch of grass. Buffy follows.

He spins around. Buffy grabs him by the arm.
BUFFY : What are you talking about?
SPIKE : The lab. Commando lab. Door was right here. Where I escaped.
BUFFY : I don't think so.
He jerks out of her grip, gets down on his knees and starts scraping at the grass, yanking up clumps of it.
SPIKE : Open up! I'm going to kill you!
BUFFY : Spike, there's nothing here.
SPIKE(yelling, more hopelessly): Let me in! Fix me!

Pretty sure thats right.

Lol, i ::heart:: that! When was that (ep? series? circumstances - plot?) exactly? Was spike good at the impressions? I ::heart:: it! I can so imagine it and it sounds so hysterical! Angel, making fun of itself! Lol, that happens in buffy too, eg when she thought the whole buffyverse was in her mind and the docs went "a world where you kill vampires and demons etc - how ridiculous"! Lol.

Yeah, I love that scene 'cause Spike is going to end up in the same position--no pun intended 😛 )--as Riley was. It's sadly prophetic.
 
That's the ep where Spike shows Buffy that Riley is being willingly bitten by vampires and then Riley goes to confront him.

I agree. Spike over Riley any day. He's way hotter and far more funnier. And he's not a doofus. 😀
 
Lol, and hes not bland either.
Spike can be funny or poetic when he chooses (or the writers choose, lol) to be. The original quote that started off this whole thread is proof of him being poetic, in his own way, lol.

Agreed...and he gets's some the show's best lines. Don't know if this one has been mentioned but:

"Is everyone here very stoned?" from 'The Weight of the World.

Plus, JM is just such a fantastic actor. His facial expressions are priceless---like the one he gives to Xander in 'Hush' when he tries to call Buffy. Just looks at him and he does the eye roll thingy. 🙄 That always cracks me up!
