The real reason the Dinosaurs died out

They did not die out as the result of an asteroid, that was a false reason, they died because they were top big to get on the ark.

It is said that all the Tyrannosaurus Rex's died because their heads got to wet in the rain that followed,
who knows why their heads got so wet?

My brother had one of those stories-with-songs on a record album as a kid, about a time traveler who goes back to the time of dinosaurs. He meets a brontosaurus (called apatosaurus now) who can, of course, speak English. The time traveler wants to bring it back with him, but realizes there's not enough room in his rocket ship. And thanks to Illyrian, I now have the last song stuck in my head! "There's just no room on my Earth anymore, there's just no room for a dinosaur." Tried to find a YouTube, but I guess it's too old.

There is a Jewish legend that a creature called the Reem (fantastic version of the wild ox) was too large for the Ark, but put it's nose on the deck of the ship and tred water. A Giant named Og was said to have survived by hanging by a rope. No tale tells of the fate of the great beast Behemoth (Fantastic Hippo), but they were already beasts of the water. Pre-modern rabbis would usually explain fossil giant animals as part of an earlier cycle of creation, which, yes, I suppose so.
