The Remaining Few

Chapter Four

"Wakey Wakey, Kido." Angelus smiled a toothy grin towards his son. "I thought you'd never wake up. This would be less fun if you were asleep."

Parker jumped off the bed and made a run for the door, but Angelus was upon him in seconds. He grabbed Parker by the neck and slammed his head into the wall. He tossed Parker across the room, where he crashed through the bathroom door.

"Does it bother you that your mother left you here to die?" Angelus asked, hoping to strike a nerve in Parker. "She left you all alone, with nothing."

Parker jumped to his feet and then jumped in the air. He grabbed onto a bar going across the ceiling and brought his feet up so they were locked around Angelus's neck. "She did leave me with something." He twisted his feet to the side and Angelus flipped over onto the floor, his head cracking on the floor.

Parker ran for the door again, but when he did the door opened before him. He sighed in relief when he thought it was his friends, but his emotions quickly changed when Drusilla walked into the room.

Willow and Xander sat in the living room of their home. Xander got up from the couch and put a tape in the tape player and then sat back next to Willow. They both stared at the television, unsure of what their emotions would be.

"ANDREW! WILL YOU GET THAT CAMERA AWAY FROM ME!" Kennedy was on the verge of tears. "I JUST SAW TWO OF MY FRIENDS GET KILLED IN FRONT OF ME! AND XANDER'S IN THE HOSPITAL!"

"Tell me how you feel about that, Kennedy." Andrew pointed the camera towards her and then focused it onto her. "How do you feel?"

"I feel like I'm gunna break your damn camera over your head if you don't get it the Hell out of my --"

"Kennedy, this is no time for fighting." Buffy appeared in the room. She was still bruised from her battle with Caleb a few hours ago. "At times like these we have to stay strong, for each other."

Willow suddenly burst into tears. It was to soon for her to try to move on. She needed her best friend back. She got up from the couch and stood in front of Xander. "I'm sorry... It's to soon..." She left him and was walking past the front door when it burst open and a badly injured Spike fell into the house.

"Spike!" Xander and Willow both yelled in unison as they ran towards him and helped him to his feet and onto the couch. "What happened?"

"A girl... Parker... vampire... she took him."

"We better call Faith." Willow walked to the her room where she kept her phone book. She came downstairs and sat next to Spike and Xander with the cordless phone. She started punching in numbers.

"Are you ok, Spike?" Xander stopped. "Not that I care... I can just laugh at you if you aren't." Why did he hate Spike so much? Maybe because of all the killings, and the fact that he tried to rape Buffy a while back. He thought he should be nice, and he really wanted too, he just couldn't put the past behind him.

Spike watched Willow say "goodbye" and hang up the phone. He took an un-needed breath and asked, "Is she coming?"

"Yeah, she's on her way."

"What do you think, Dru?" Angelus asked as he circled Parker and Drusilla. They had tied Parker down to a chair and Drusilla was doing a psychic evaluation on him.

"Your son's head is spinning... Seeing the now and beyond he does... Seeing things, secrets going "spill spill". He doesn't even know what the stars have in store for him." A split second later she was back to sane-ness. "He'll make a good addition to our family."

Should I continue?

Hey, sorry, but I'm not in a writing mood today. Earlier today I got hit by a car and I'm kinda sore. So, I'll post a new chapter tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm fine, just a few scrapes and bruises.

Chapter Five

Parker was still tied to the chair. Angelus and Drusilla had left the room and had been gone for what seemed like hours. He wondered what they were up to. Countless of times he had tried to break free from the ropes tying him to the chair, but each time he failed. If only he had the powers his mother did.

He wondered if Spike ever made it back to Willow and Xander. He knew that they would come looking for him. They'd probably stop and get Faith along the way. Would it be smart for them to come? A beaten vampire, a Slayer, a witch, and... Xander. Not the most lethal combination when you're fighting the all might, all evil Angelus, along with Drusilla and a couple other vampires.

His heart skipped a beat when Angelus and Drusilla both walked into the room. They were both smiling, which terrified Parker. Drusilla sat on the bed next to the chair, holding one of her dolls, while Angelus stood next to Parker.

"Well son, I think you're going to make a great vampire." Angelus smiled evily.

"You're not my father. My father was a good person." Parker said, standing up for his father. If only the prophecy had been more accurate, they could have been better prepared. The prophecy never said he would split into two SEPERATE people - Angelus and Angel. He remembered the night it happened. The night Angelus killed Angel.

"ANGEL! JUST GET OUT OF HERE!" Kennedy launched a powerful kick, her foot connecting with Angelus's stomach. "I can take him!"

"No, you can't. I am him. I know how he thinks. He's a monster. You think you have the uperhand now, but it's not going to last." Angel pleaded with her. "Hit him hard enough and we can make a run for it."

"No, let her stay. I like seeing her all tense. The scent is intoxicating." Angelus punched Kennedy in the face. He grabbed her still moving body and kicked her legs out from under her. He sat on top of her, pinning her arms down.

Angel tried to help Kennedy, but Angelus was a vampire, and Angel was just a human. Angelus reached an arm behind him and easily tossed Angel across the room. Then, he turned back to Kennedy and slowly sunk his teeth into her neck. When done with Kennedy, Angelus stepped up and stalked towards Angel.

"Sorry, well... me..." He grabbed Angel by the throat and sunk his teeth into Angel's throat. He tore his fangs out quickly and dropped Angel to the ground. "I'll let you bleed to death."

Angel looked across the room towards the small child in the corner. "I love you... Parker." Was Angel's last words before he died. The words of a father to his son.

Angelus never got to hurt Parker though. The calvary arrived and saved him, but they came moments to soon. Kennedy and Angelus were dead.

"Now, let's get this show on the road." Angelus slowly began lowering his fangs towards Parker's neck.

NO!!!!!!!!!! a cliffhanger! lol darn you! this is really good!!!! i cant wait for more!

He thrashed against the arms pulling him, but he was helpless. It was a three against one battle, and he was bound to loose. The three men pulled him into the dark cavern and dropped him to the floor. They took two strands of rope and tied them around his wrists, and then tied them to a large boulder, so he couldn't get out.

One of the men seperated from the others and disappeared behind a large rock formation. He came back moments later, carrying a dark colored box. He set it down on the ground in between the his two other associates and the teenage boy. All in unison, the three men began to pound their wood stafs into the ground.

Slowly, the black box on the ground opened. A black swirling figure slowly floated out and levitated above the young teenager. It swirled around him and began going inside him, through his mouth, ears, and nose. The teenager started pulling at the ropes desperately. They broke and he ran out of the cavern as fast as his legs could take him.

"Should we get him?" One of the men asked in a long since forgotten African language.

"No, go find the girl, she stands a better chance of being controled. She will do what's he's told.

Parker regained consciousness. Angelus had always been known for his cruelty and torture. He wasn't about to let Parker just die and become a vampire. He wanted to torture him, have some good fun with him, then kill him. Minutes before, he sank his teeth into Parker's neck. He sucked the blood that flooded out, almost to the point where Parker died. He stopped, sensing Parker's life slipping away, and left him to recover.

Parker was having the weirdest dream about three men trying to force some sort of dark cloud into a teenager. It really freaked him out. His dreams had been coming true lately. It was unlikely that dream would happen, because it looked as if it took place thousands of years ago.

He tried to open his eyes. He was just to weak to do anything. Blood loss was taking its affect, and he could barely breathe. He heard a small crash and a grunt in the room, but didn't think anything of it. The movements became louder and more frequent. Parker forced his eyes open and gasped at the scene in front of him.

Faith was kicking the crap out of Angelus, while Spike, Xander, Willow and fought the other vampired. Drusilla was also in the room, but she was fighting one of her dolls. He would have laughed at the sight of her fighting a doll and the fact that the doll was winning, but he was still to weak.

Soon the vampires were all dust and Angelus had retreated out the window. The group ran over to Parker and untied him from the chair. By then, Parker had blacked out again. Willow had become a powerful witch. Now she didn't even have to worry about going evil. She grabbed onto Parker and turned to the rest of the group. "Meet me at the hospital." In a small blast of energy, Willow and Parker disappeared. The group didn't need to be told, they just hurried out of the room and to the car. They needed to get to the hospital.

Oh, and your banners look fine. LoL. I just started making banners too, and mine come out like crap and I can't even get them uploaded right lol.

Chapter Seven

"Stake out take out, anyone?" Xander walked into the hospital room and put some food and drinks down on a table in the right hand of the room. "Haha, stake out... stake... haha." He laughed to himself and then started passing the food around.

Willow had arrived at the hospital with Parker in the nick-of-time. The doctors had taken him into the ER and did everything possible to get him into a stable condition. They diagnosed him with severe blood loss, which of course was what he was suffering from. The doctors told Willow that he might slip in and out of consciousness, and that he will be extremely weak until his body makes more blood. They changed him into the ugly hospital clothes, assigned him a room, and at the moment he was sleeping with an IV sticking out of his arm. Spike, Faith, and Xander arrived a few minutes ago. Xander went to his usual job - getting the food.

"Maybe now is not the time to joke, Xander." Faith said. "This is serious, Angelus took a bite outta the kid."

"Buffy made us promise to protect him before she died." Willow was holding Parker's hand, looking down at him sadly. "Parker is all we have left of Buffy, guys. I mean, Dawn was made from her, but she became a prostitute and we haven't seen her in years."

Xander smiled, but Faith and Spike both nudged him.

"We can't let Buffy down." Willow started again. "Her dying wish was for Parker to be safe. If he dies... then we failed. And I won't let that happen. I let her down enough."

"Ah. No. Willow. All the magic in the world couldn't heal what happened to her. It wasn't your fault. You gotta let go." Faith tried to comfort her, but that wasn't really her thing.

"We're all going to get upset." Spike stated. "And frankly I don't feel like being around the washy women." Xander "hey'd". "And Xander. So, let's all try to keep our emotions --"

"Flowers for the injured boy...?"

The group turned to the doorway of the hospital room, where Angelus stood. He grinned evily and held some dead and decomposing flowers in his hand.

"When Buffy had her fever a long time back, I showed up. Just wanted to show the little brat the same type of emotions I shot towards Buffy." Angelus tossed the flowers at Xander. "You were there, weren't you Xander? You were all big and manly. That was really the only time in your life that you've ever been a man. And that was just for your beloved Buffy. So, without her around. Do you think you can stand up to me?"

Faith jumped off her chair and punched Angelus in the face. She kicked him in the keys, but then he grabbed her leg and pushed her back against the wall.

"Sepero." Willow threw a purple ball at Faith and Angelus. A magical field seperated them, Faith on the left side and Angelus on the right. "We are not going to fight in a hospital, especially now." Willow's eyes were turning pure black... with hate... towards Angelus.

Suddenly, the lights and everything electrical went out in the hospital. Everyone looked around confused. Angelus shrugged, giving them an "it wasn't me" look. Then if that wasn't suprising enough, Angelus collapsed to the floor. A couple of men walked into the room once his body was down. THey all wore suits and were definatly British.

"By order of the Watcers council, we here-by demand the custody of Parker Summers over to us immediatly. If you don't give him up willingly, we'll take it by force."

Should I do more?
