Chapter Eight

"Why do you THINK you're going to take Parker." Faith stood in front of Parker's bed, her hands raised in a fighting position.

"It's none of your concern." One of the Watchers took out a gun and pointed it at everyone. He turned the gun towards Spike. "You're just a ghost, but I advice you that this bullet is blessed with holy water that can send your spirit back to the afterlife."

"Are you ignoring Angelus? He's lying right in front of you. Why don't you get rid of him?" Xander pointed at Angelus. "Do something right for a change instead of doing something stupid."

"It's true. The all mighty, all evil Angelus is before us, but this investigation needs to be handled now." The Watcher moved towards Parker, but Willow stepped in front of his way. "This does not concern you, witch."

"He's just a teenager. He's not going anywhere with you. I'm his legal guardian now that Buffy is dead." She looked at Angelus also. "Why don't you get rid of Angelus? I know that he's responsible for 20 slayer deaths in the past year."

"I told you. This investigation needs to be handled now. The problem could become more serious, and we need to take care of it now." He looked at the group. "I will shoot. If you know how the Watchers Council acts, you know I will shoot you."

"Wait..." Spike piped up. "What investigation?"

Robin Wood sat in the office at his new High School. He had stayed after hours to do some paper work, and he had lost track of time. He packed his things and put them in a folder. He filed the folder and turned off the lights off his office, exiting the room.

He walked down the hallway slowly, unaware of the danger that would be upon him. As he turned the corner of a long hall way, three Bringers jumped out from behind a door.

"You have five seconds." Another Watcher warned. "If you don't give him up, we will shoot." He took out a small gun of his own and pointed it at Xander.

"Let them go..." Spike spoke softly to the group. "We don't want anymore injuries than we already have. Faith and I know where the Watchers Council is. We can go after him later."

"You're making the right choice." The Watchers approached Parker's bed. They unhooked the machines from him and pulled him out of bed. Swinging him over their shoulders, the Watchers exited the room, then the hospital.

"Can this night get any worse? First Parker almost gets killed, now he gets kidnapped." Xander sighed.

Angelus jumped to his feet, late as always. "Where are they? Where are the people that shot me?" He looked around and then saw Faith. "Ah, not in the mood for fighting right now. I'll be back later, Faith-ey." He waved evily, moaning towards Faith, and then disappeared from the hospital.

"What do we do now?" Faith asked.

"Get a bag together. We're headed to England."

No. Not remotely. I just supplied pictures and the text. My banners come out like mentally retarteded posters...

Hey guys, I'm not in the mood to type anything tonight. It's been a rough week. I'm beat. I'm probably gunna go to bed now. Sorry. I promise I'll have something for you to read tomorrow. I can leave you with a spoiler though 🙂

Spoiler: A 'love' relationship is coming up. And, the true battle against the greatest evil is on it's way. And, a mysterious visit from the future will come to help fight. If you've read the comics, you'd recognise the name - Fray.

Fray is THE (as in one) Slayer in the very very very distant future. The comic was created by Joss Whedon. Since there is no wood in the future, Fray fights vampires with... THE SCYTHE. Cool uh? here is a great website to look at.

Hey Parker, have you posted this on any other fan fic site? IF not , you should. Fan Fiction.net is one I suggest, your fic is a whole lot better than most of the stuff on there. Again, great fic, keep up the good writing.

LoL. Aw. Thanks, your story is great too. I did post it there, or I posted the first chapter. It got 4 replies, I'm just to lazy to update it there lol. I think I might make this into a series... not sure yet.

Chapter Nine

Parker slowly woke up. He was still extremely weak from the amount of blood he lost. He didn't know what happened to him, or how he ended up in England. The last thing he remembered was his father taking a bite out of him.

He opened his eyes and scanned the room he was in. It was very plain, but it could be have been worse. There was a bed at the end of the room, where he was sitting. There was a chair and a table on the other side. There was a window and a door. Atleast he was getting light.

Parker stood up, but was to weak to stand and fell back down on the bed. His following made a loud noise, which echoed through whatever was outside his door. He sat on the bed, leaning his back against the wall, and hoped no one would come in any time soon.

All hopes flew ou the window when the door slowly opened. A young woman opened the door and slowly waked into the room. She seemed to be Parker's age, with blonde hair, and blue eyes. She was pretty, and if he was inside the Watchers Council, most likely she was smart and educated at demonology.

"Hey? Who are you?" She closed the door behind and sat next to him on the bed.

"I'm Parker Summers." He looked at her fearfully, not sure if she was sent in here to kill him.

"Woah! Wait!" She got up and stood in front of him. "Summers as in Buffy Summers?"

"Yeah. I'm her son." Parker smiled as the girl's jaw dropped. He laughed slightly. "Why? Am I famous?"

"No! But your mother is!" She began walking around the room in excitement. "I've read all about her! My favorite story was the one where she did the most good. I remember my father telling me like it was yesterday......."

"I'm not worried." Buffy looked down into the cavern of Turak-hon vampires. She was worried, but if she let her emotions take control, they would lose it.

"Really?" Rona asked, not believing her. "Cuz I'm flashing back to Xander's whole bathroom speech right about now."

"Buffy..." Amanda was terrified.

"I'm not worried. As long as Willow can do the spell before they..."

The Turak-hon vampires stopped and looked up at the cliff they were on. All at once, in a single motion, every vampire in the Hellmouth ran at them with increasing speed.

"That was the best story I've ever heard!" She said, still pacing around the room. "It was like... my bedtime story! I heard it every night."

"Can we please not talk about my mother?" Parker asked. He was still shakey about the subject. She only died last week.

"Why?" She asked. Then she got even more hyper. "CAN I MEET YOUR MOTHER?!?!"

"NO!" Parker snapped at her. "She's dead!" Once he noticed what he just said, and that it was actually reality. He grew really quiet and leaned against the wall, letting his head drop down.

"Oh... I'm..." The girl didn't know what to say. Her Idol, her child hood hero, and more importantly, Parker's mother was dead. She felt really bad that she brought the subject up, and she thought it would be best to try and comfort Parker. "For Buffy... She would want me too..." She sat next to him on the bed and was about to confort him when the door opened and a few Watchers walked into the room.

"What are you doing in here, Jessica?" Roger, one of the Watchers looked at the girl. He guessed that Jessica was her name, and that this Watcher was her father.

"I was just saying hello. This is Buffy's --"

"I know who this is." Roger walked past Jessica and sat in one of the chairs in front of Parker. "We have to do some tests on you. It's very important. Nothing is going to hurt, I promise. I know you're still a little weak, so I'll help you there."

* * * * *

"Nothing is happening. Can you please bring me home now?" Parker begged, looking into the blue crystal sitting in front of him.

"No, it is. We have everything we needed to know." Jessica and a few other Watchers stood at the back of the room, while Roger examined Parker. Roger looked at Parker seriously. He grabbed a scroll from the table and looked at Parker. It would be the first time this scroll would ever be read to someone.

I'm having a REALLY hard time putting the next paragraph together. It has a lot of explaining to do which will be the basis for the rest of the stories. So, I'll post it when I feel it's perfect.

Sorry for the delay. I've been working on Riely stuff this weekend. If you're wondering what Riely is, it's in the off topic area of the site. OK! I THINK I'VE FINALLY GOT THIS DOWN! HERE WE GO!

Chapter Ten

Roger looked down at Parker, nervously, but sternly. "Into every generation one Slayer is born. One girl in all the world who has the strength and skill to hunt the vampires." He looked back down at the scroll. "That's not truely how the story went. The magic men were given two choices. A male and a female. They chose the Male first. They used the power of a demon to invoke him with the powers of the Slayer. However, he broke free and escaped from the magic men. Then they called in the female and made her the official Slayer." He looked back at the scroll for a second time. "Unknown to the magic men, the male was given some parts of the demon. He was not the Vampire Slayer, he was the Vampire Hunter. There are many differences between the Slayer and the Hunter."

The rest of the Watchers stood at the back of the room, watching. Jessica was in the room too, but she was just as confused as Parker was.

"The Hunter doesn't have the super strength, fast healing ability, the strong never ending stamina, stealth, and other abilities. However, the Hunter does have the prophecy dreams, and the senses of the Slayer. The other difference is that two different demons were used to invoke the Slayer and the Hunter. The Slayer is called when a Slayer dies, but a Hunter is BORN! The only way for a Hunter to be born is for a Slayer to have a child." Roger put the scroll down on the table and looked at Parker.

Everyone in the room was silent.

"Parker Summers." He looked at him. "In every generation one Hunter is born. A male in all the world who has the abilities to stop vampires. He will be trained by a Watcher. Parker Summers, you are the Hunter, and I am your Watcher."

THE END

Should I make a sequel?

Yea - go for it. I'm waiting to see "Scoobies in England" (not to mention getting a bit more background stuff on your take on the Buffyverse) 'cos the "End" is not really the end is it? I bet you've got a whole lot more planned for this story, haven't you? You tease, you 🙂
